  1. Is it a bit like a statute of limitations, that would be my guess.
  2. I hope so given that the old big six clubs are trying to bring in even more stringent rules primarily aimed at restricting our growth.
  3. Nick De Marco https://x.com/nickdemarco_/status/1725793652578955618?s=46&t=RaLdCRuzyWBbm603Y3eUgg
  4. Well if FFP can be voted in by PL Clubs surely it can be voted out given its impact on clubs ability to compete? I’d also include FMV in that, a rule that was hastily imposed to restrict our revenue streams and they now want to make this rule even more stringent.
  5. They intend to appeal…..if its a frivolous appeal they should increase the penalty to 12 points.
  6. FA wrote to him last week asking for his comments……hence delay
  7. Clubs in Spain still whinging about a super league. https://x.com/deadlinedaylive/status/1724830606536687883?s=46&t=RaLdCRuzyWBbm603Y3eUgg
  8. Plenty of that in Holland……….
  9. Fuck………this season is becoming a write off because of injuries.
  10. https://x.com/deadlinedaylive/status/1724469459891441904?s=46&t=RaLdCRuzyWBbm603Y3eUgg Saudi in UCL??‍♂️ looks like it’s BS however it’s boiling some piss
  11. This should make the vote on associated transfers on 21/11 interesting.
  12. Agreed, Dan Asworth’s statement about loans from Saudi I believe is part of a wider strategy that has caused a good few clubs in the PL to shit themselves. The new stricter rules they want to bring in around commercial sponsorships is anti competitive and I won’t be surprised if the club now go down the legal route. Could be fun and games ahead and more essential viewing at a CAT hearing.
  13. https://x.com/deadlinedaylive/status/1723313108465095147?s=61&t=Yt8DTJJ-7Jh_ndgpdGSFKQ Perez at Real Madrid still pushing his ESL agenda.
  14. Red shirt teams will change the rules to block this?
  15. The new revenue streams will be in place next summer, I don’t think FFP will be as tight allowing us much more freedom in the market.
  16. So how are ‘the other clubs, going to alter the co efficient for UCL monies? UCL money is UEFA’s alone to determine. As for co efficients in the PL, the turkeys certainly won’t vote for Christmas as was pointed out by another poster.
  17. Sorry, you mentioned co efficient payments and the don’t exist in the PL. All clubs receive an equal cut of the PL money. The rest is made up of prize money for where you finished in the league and of course money per game when your match is live on TV. Obviously teams at the top of the league tend to be on TV the most so get more revenue but there is no co efficient that awards extra money based on history years in the PL unlike UCL money. Didn’t Ceferin the UEFA head describe the PL as the most egalitarian league in Europe about how revenues are shared?
  18. I realised I’d got his first name wrong, I knew a lad called Andy Devine years a go, must have had a brain fart!! Him and Nick De Marco would be a formidable team in any legal proceedings.
  19. Yes but co efficient payments don’t exist in the PL, as far as UCL money I agree.
  20. UCL money is UEFA and PL money all clubs get the same share, only extras are TV appearances a final league positions. There hasn’t been a vote on these well at least to my knowledge.
  21. I believe that the club employed Andy Devine, a lawyer of some standing especially with regard to sports and regulations, hopefully he’ll attend the PL meeting later this month. I can see CAT being involved, again, should the club legally challenge any new rules they put in place.
