Yes, £2 billion, however given that PIF are worth between £320-700 billion according to various sources it still ain’t huge, maybe to us but not them. Remember the paid Qatar £1 billion compensation to settle the piracy issue and didn’t even blink.

Nah, they bought us to get there products and companies out there, what a way to do that owning a PL club. The profit any PL club could possibly make is loose change to PIF.

PIF haven’t bought us to be 7th or 8th best, I’m sure they want to make the club one of the best in the EPL and in Europe. If they have to sweep aside the attempts by the so called big 6, and the PL through resorting to legal action, so be it.

I’m sure the club will have sought the best legal advice should the PL get involved in any shenanigans. I’m sure the PL will also have sought legal advice too. as someone a month or so posted, four pre season games in Saudi at £30 million a game would help out the club.

I haven’t read the Telegraph article (firewall) however someone on twitter indicated it would be an independent body of so called experts, whether that’s right or not who knows.
