  1. Arsenal ahead after about a minute and 5 seconds
  2. Who is it. Saw Sue Smith and Courtney SK mentioned on here, but Twitter suggesting Karen Carney. Unless they are different broadcasts.

Just tuned in and immediately taken off . Nice send off applause for him and a Newcastle top in the crowd.
  4. Yeah, it is kind of selective because at the moment WBA are 9th and Norwich are 10th, but at the start of the season, the 3 relegated sides, Sheff U, WBA and Boro were clear in terms of the title and promotion odds, and their record against that lot is 1 draw and 5 defeats, so removing those results from their record, against the other 17, it is 10 wins and 6 draws from their 19 matches. I can see them sneaking into the POs, and who knows after that, but with WBA and Boro improving, and Norwich making a managerial change (please not Bruce ), maybe the expected 6 will fill actually the top 6 come the end of the season.
  5. They're +9 now, and the clear third best GD in the league. They couldn't string back to back wins earlier in the season, but this will be their 4th win of their last 6, winning B2B twice in that period.
  6. Boro level. They are now ahead, 2-1, and Blackburn are down to 10 men. Looking like yet another match Bburn don't draw.
  7. Ha, you watching on the red button?
  8. I'll watch Blackpool-Sheff Utd by default. It's good that more matches are available via the red button, but I could only really watch one of those if I was properly invested as it can be a really tough watch.

They're doing well to be fair. 1-0 up against lowly Wigan, and if they win, that will be 5 from their last 8, with 3rd bottom Blackpool up next on NYD. It's obviously very tight and you can jump about 8 places with a win (like what Luton did earlier today), but they are currently 3rd in the live league table. Assuming the top 2 is already done and dusted, hopefully Watford, Norwich, WBA and Boro can all get their act together / keep improving and fill those 3-6 spots.
  10. Saw that the other day, and bit of a misleading, clickbait headline. Tipped for the job, yet in the first paragraph says he's 30/1, and about 20 managers about him in the list. They're basically in the same position WBA were when they appointed him, albeit a couple of months earlier in the season. Can't see them being that daft.
  11. And within a minute Burnley go 2-0 up, and pretty much ends that one as a contest as well. Was gonna watch the darts on delay at 10pm, but will probably watch earlier now, haha.
  12. And with that, I'll switch over to Burnley vs Birmingham.
  13. Looking like an awful set of results for Tottenham in particular. Credible draw in the end, but still dropped points, whereas 5 of the other 'better 7' who were in action all won.
  14. He's been kissing their ass all match, it's cringey . Probably thinks that's for the best if he wants an extended commentary career.
  15. Didn't realise Forest had only scored 1 away goal this season. 1 goal scored and 19 conceded in 7 away games, not including this one. Crazy.
  16. Well, like the Chelsea match, that's that. Shite how both opponents were massive 8/1+ underdogs.
  17. Not much point in continuing watching this now, and tonight's match will likely be similar. Hate bigger clubs at home to smaller club type matches. It'll obviously do OK viewing wise given one of the teams involved, but would have been better if it was buried in the 3pm matches yesterday when there was match choice.
  18. Shame Arsenal won (although the title is nowhere near my radar this season, would be ecstatic with 4th, and would take 6th if offered), but how good does 'Arsenal move x points clear of Newcastle' sound, and that as it stands, we are the nearest challengers We've never been in these dizzy heights after a sustained amount of matches for almost 20 years.
  19. Mad how West Ham have gone from finishing 6th and 7th in successive seasons, to being on the brink of 17th, lost 10 of their 16 league matches, and only scored 13 goals, despite spending around £150m in the summer (more than us). Moyes has done really well the past couple of years, and he obviously has had good spells throughout his managerial career, but you'd think there would be a more innovate manager out there for them. I'd have taken a point there at the time of the postponement, but now it's definitely a match we should be looking for 3 points when the match is finally rearranged.
  20. Mind, with Amazon and their delays, there could be a change in scoreline in real time before you've had a chance to press post
  21. It looks like Arsenal are well on their way here, it was basically a matter of how long West Ham could keep them out, but I'd rather they won than Liverpool earlier if someone were to drop points. Chelsea vs Bournemouth and Man Utd vs Forest look pretty routine tomorrow especially with both being at home, but hopefully one will drop points.
  22. Yeah, it's 'we've got super Mik Arteta...' They definitely sang it first as it was on that Amazon documentary thing well before we signed Bruno, but as above, they probably got it off someone else.
  23. Sky should definitely consider temporarily renaming one of their channels 'Sky Sports Eddie's Mags' for the months of January and February . I've never seen anything like that before. 9 domestic matches in a row on TV
  24. I like Brendan. Usually has good words to say about Newcastle and the fans / SJP.
