You never know how much injury time there will be. Could be like 2 or could go on for 6 or 7 mins.
-
Derby should have equalised there. Glorious chance. Still 2-1
-
Christ. Penalty to Derby.
-
Missing a fair few chances this second half. I can't really see Derby getting back into it, but should have been put to bed by now.

The post was more in response to 'we're 7th' and the painting that we're in a decent position generally, whereas I was pointing out that we'll soon very likely be far lower than that, and in what would be considered a poor position, and yeah, injuries or not, I'd still expect more than 2 points from Bournemouth, Forest, Luton at home in recent weeks. The season has kind of felt like a write off to me for a couple of months now, and I'm not that bothered when we're dropping points as it doesn't really feel like there's much jeopardy to the matches, (not apathy of the Ashley era, just more of a get this season out of the way and regroup), but if we were to finish 10/11/12 (and not make the FA Cup final / semi final) then it will absolutely be a poor and disappointing season, regardless of unfortunate circumstances.

Liverpool Feds leading Forest 1-0. If Newcastle win and Forest don't, then that will surely be the league sewn up, but obviously a long way to go in both matches.
-
Olivia Watt off injured and replaced by Tyler Dodds, so a defender for a midfielder. Stobbs is out today, and still no Bedeau. They did bring a defender in from Palace, but it feels like they should have brought in another defender, rather than 3 strikers.

Sunderland score in the 95th and 96th minute to lead Lewes 4-3 to temporarily go top of the 2nd tier. No real animosity, but would be pretty cool to have a couple of derbies in the league next season, and would also be nice if NUFC were the premier club in the region, so hoping they don't win their league.

Not happy that Sheff Utd have got back to back 'Super Sunday' matches. I usually have the 2pm game on the TV and NUFC women's matches on the laptop (when they are streamed), but will probably watch the women on YouTube on the telly today.

That was brilliant. I do always watch his videos when they lose, or get (what would be considered) a poor draw, so was watching last night and just burst out laughing at this part. Comedy gold. I do quite like him. He's harmless and is obviously passionate about his club.

Looks extremely attacking with Gibson, Barker, McQuade, Lumsden and PBG all atarting. Not sure what formation they will be playing. Important match. Derby 5th in the table and have one of the better GDs in the league (+13). Newcastle won 1-0 in the reverse fixture. Forest away to Liverpool Feds who are currently fourth.

But on the other hand, we're also only 2 points away from the bottom half. We have Arsenal away on Saturday, Brighton (game in hand) have Sheff U (a) and Everton (h) in the coming days, Wolves have Sheff Utd (h) on Sunday, West Ham have Brentford (h) on Monday, so a very good chance we'll be 10th in 8 days time, and that's probably the worst position anyone would have expected at the start of this season. You have your big 6, Villa have ambition and a good manager, West Ham's wage bill is pretty high, and Brighton have built a good side, and have a good structure in place, but we shouldn't be finishing below any other side, and while someone obviously has to, to potentially finish bottom of that mini league would be extremely disappointing, injuries / fixture congestion or not.

Can't believe how shit the home form has become, you'd have been disappointed with 7 points from Luton, Forest, and Bmouth, yet we're looking at 1 point from 12, despite playing 3 of those teams.

Minteh starts for Feyenoord (vs Roma). Probably the pick of the 5.45pm matches, even without his involvement. TNT Sports 1

Far better than one notable alternative...

Some good results tonight with WBA, Norwich, and Hull all winning. Bristol City beating Southampton too didn't harm, although not sure if I see them threatening the top 6. Ipswich have only taken 9 points from their last 9 games, but after their start, they will probably only need 13 or so points from their final 16 games, as 73 points would usually see you in the top 6, so it is still looking like 6 or so teams battling it out for the final 2 places. I think it will mainly be down to WBA, Sunderland, Coventry, Norwich, Hull, and if Boro can get a bit more consistency now they are out of both cups then they could have a chance, and they do have games in hand. I just don't see the likes of Preston, Bristol, Cardiff getting in, and Watford seem to have turned to shit with 3 defeats in a row and only 7 points from their last 9 games - Ismael will likely be on borrowed time now, given their track record. It's going to be really interesting to see who finishes 2nd - Leeds have now won 7 games in a row, and Southampton lost in the league for the first time in 23 games, and way back in September.

Aye, for 10 years in a row from 2008, at least one NL side would make the final, including 8 winners, but since then, 5 of the past 6 finals (including this season) won't have included one. From that finals list, Spennymoor and South Shields are now 3 leagues above, Morpeth are two, Dunston, Stockton, Hebburn and Consett are all in the league above now, as were North Shields before they were demoted last season. You've also now got Ashington and Newton Aycliffe in that league now, so a lot of the better NL players will be at those sides, whereas in 2017/18 pretty much all those sides were in the NL, and South Shields were only promoted from the NL the season before. There were very few promotions out of that league from 2008-2017, only Darlington, Spennymoor and South Shields, so the league was generally much stronger.

Where did you bet at? I can never find odds for this league.

8 games to go: H vs Derby, Huddersfield, Liverpool Fed A vs Stoke, Stourbridge, Wolves, Halifax, WBA You'd like to think, especially judging by GD, Huddersfield, Stourbridge and WBA should be fairly comfortable. The 4-7 type matches could offer some resistance, but they are in a great position now. Easy to say now, but would have been even better if we didn't concede that 90th minute goal to lose to Forest the other week. Forest have Liverpool Feds and Wolves away coming up within their next 3 matches, and they are also away to Derby (I'm not sure what the rivalry will be like in the women's side, but probably a bigger game for them than normal, and Forest lost to them at home) and they have Stoke at home among their final 9 league matches.
-
7, but Forest have a game in hand, so potentially 4. 11 ahead of Burnley, but they do have 2 games in hand, and we have a much better GD than them, so from that POV, we could draw and lose in our final 8 games and still be above them. Looking like Forest will be the main threat now as they have won like 5 in a row in the league.

Charlotte Potts always look really good, so composed. She's playing for her home town club, is a professional, and will likely be on a relatively decent wage, and there's obviously circumstances with the takeover etc. but should really be playing at a far higher level.
-
3-0, game over!
-
An amazing save from the Burnley keeper before the back pass, to be fair.

It's a much better stream than what we usually get on NUFC YouTube. Although don't think you can rewind, which isn't ideal, but the cameras are far better.

Edit - ah, it's probably linked to another social media account, not sure who owns it, but I probably am logged in, either though I never use TT.
