Thought WBA keeper made a fantastic save, but it was actually a handball by the WBA outfield player, so should have been another penna to QPR, and a red card. Lucky boy.

Both Championship main Sky matches the past 2 nights have been really good. Drama throughout the Ipswich game yesterday, and QPR vs WBA is decent as well. 1-2 WBA, but QPR has just missed a penalty and had a great chance just before.

I hope Ipswich can get top 2, but potentially Ipswich vs Norwich in the playoffs would be tasty.

Spennymoor couldn't buy a win for months just a few weeks ago, relegation looked a real possibility, but they are in great form now and the playoffs might not be out of the question. Darlington in great form too, beat Scunthorpe 4-0 and have now won 4 in a row and are just int he drop zone on goal difference. Steve Watson seems to have done a good job. Blyth weren't playing tonight, but with Darlo and Kings Lynn in good form and them currently not being able to buy a win (looks like they only have 2 points from their last 8 games), plus potential worries with the takeover, it's not looking great.

I think it was over before today, but aye, that's definitely that. They can now afford to blood a few players in, and I suspect Rigg will be getting more minutes, but it's pretty early in the year for the season just to peter out. I suppose they will want to get to 51/52 points as quickly as possible, just in case, but yeah, not going to be much on any of these remaining matches.

Another goal for the Geordie Leif Davis. 3-2 Ipswich in the 89th minute.

Are these comms that Sky have got on the red button associated with Sunderland?

No, Forest beat them just the other week., and Burnley won their first match. Forest's hardest matches look Wolves (A) next week, and their derby with Derby (A) at the end of the month. Burnley have 9 matches left, so could maybe catch up with them if they have to play midweek, but their fixtures look quite straightforward.
-
Remaining fixtures: 10/3 - Stourbridge (A) - reverse fixture 5-0 win 17/3 - Wolves (A) - reverse fixture 3-0 win 24/3* 31/3 - Liverpool Feds (H) - reverse fixture 4-0 win 14/4 - Huddersfield (H) - reverse fixture 4-0 win 21/4 - Halifax (A) - reverse fixture 7-0 win 5/5 - WBA (A) - reverse fixture 1-0 win *League Cup final vs Hashtag United.

4-1 win. Stoke pulled it back to 3-1, but Galloway added a 4th a few mins later. Forest won 3-0, Burnley won 2-0, so as you were in that respect, but one less fixture to go.
-
Live scores are on Bet365, so saves going on various twitter accounts, but still 3-0. Forest and Burnley have both scored at pretty much the same time and lead 1-0 after 74 mins, but obviously if we keep winning then it won't matter what those do.

Good stuff. On paper, this was probably the 2nd hardest of the remaining 7 games, and seems like it will be passed with flying colours. I'll definitely be tuning into Newcastle Fans TV for the vlog when it drops, which is usually around 11pm.

I don't think Stoke have a stream, and it will feel quite weird not being able to match the match if not. Looking at past fixtures, I'll have seen 10 of the last 11 games stretching back to November, Fylde away in the cup being the exception. 8 of those 11 have been at home, and there were streams for both Man Utd and Burnley away.

Yeah, I saw that on Oddschecker as well, but then all the other teams being the exact same odds obviously nullify it. Would have been nice if they had a chance to drop again, but yeah, midtable mediocrity is fine as they had been in and around 6th for large parts of the season, and you never know with the playoffs (if they did make them).
-
I think that's their season officially over though. Obviously wasn't looking good losing 3 on the trot (before today) and not having a permanent manager, but had they beaten Norwich they would have closed the gap on them and been like 6 points off the playoffs, but they've lost a 6 pointer and are now 9 points behind 6th. You usually need around 70 points for 6th place, so that would mean 7 wins and 2 draws from their final 11 matches, and that's not happening. It'll be an 8th season outside of the top flight next year, and I think that's their longest period of being outside it.

Na, I wouldn't read anything into that. Betfair I assume? Southampton, Norwich, Hull, WBA etc. are all 14/5 as well. These are SkyBets latest odds and you can't even get odds on Sunderland, and Middlesbrough who are 3 points below them are 150/1.
