  1. 7, but Forest have a game in hand, so potentially 4. 11 ahead of Burnley, but they do have 2 games in hand, and we have a much better GD than them, so from that POV, we could draw and lose in our final 8 games and still be above them. Looking like Forest will be the main threat now as they have won like 5 in a row in the league.
  2. Charlotte Potts always look really good, so composed. She's playing for her home town club, is a professional, and will likely be on a relatively decent wage, and there's obviously circumstances with the takeover etc. but should really be playing at a far higher level.
  3. An amazing save from the Burnley keeper before the back pass, to be fair.
  4. It's a much better stream than what we usually get on NUFC YouTube. Although don't think you can rewind, which isn't ideal, but the cameras are far better.
  5. Edit - ah, it's probably linked to another social media account, not sure who owns it, but I probably am logged in, either though I never use TT.
  6. That above TikTok links looks like it should be fine, and I don't have an account there, but get the following:
  7. Yes, via Burnley, either their Tiktok, or something called Clarets+.
  8. They've got a lot of strength in depth now. No Boddy as mentioned, Beadeu isn't in the 16, not sure if injured, but there's no defenders on the bench. I guess it's fine for most sides in the league, but a bit of a shame they can't have 7 subs and give a few others a chance for some minutes, but I guess when pretty much all the league isn't professional, it will even things out a bit. They signed that Nikki Gears, but they have got so many attacking options now with Lumsden, PBG etc. that she will struggle to make the 16. What actually happens if a keeper gets injured or sent off? Can you have a back up keeper, but not name them in the 16?
  9. Such a big game. If we do win, then having played Forest and Burnley twice, and considering some of the lower end teams in the league, it would be quite hard not to win the league with only 8 games to go. Forest or Burnley would pretty much have to win every remaining match, and that might still not be enough. But a defeat, and it will be so close between the top 3 sides.
  10. We were admittedly draw specialists last season, but we've actually won more games this season
  11. I was mainly looking at our respective goals conceded in the past 2 years, last season after 24 games we had only conceded 17 (and it was only 13 after 22 games, but conceded 2 vs Liverpool and then Man City), by far the lowest in the league at that stage, but this season we've already conceded 39, and only 7 teams have conceded more. The main thing that shocked me though was that we are only 5 points worse off than what we were at this stage last season, 36 vs 41, but after those aforementioned back to back defeats, we were just about to win 5 in a row, or 8 of the next 9, and you just can't see a run like that happening this season
  12. Yippeeh aye aaaayyyy yippeeh aye ooohhhh, Holte Enders in the sky!

This was a pretty interesting interview.
  14. I'd definitely take 7th if offered, but hopefully we can push for 6th. Top 5 does look beyond us with the injuries, players available, lengthy gap, and will be really hard for us to win like 7 out of 8 matches likes we did on a couple of occasions last year. Don't often say this, but hopefully Villa win tomorrow, and of course Arsenal in the 2pm game vs West Ham.
  15. Not sure if Newcastle are doing anything for it, but at least there looks like there will be a stream from the Burnley side.
  16. WBA a goal up away at Ipswich. From a not wanting Sunderland promoted POV, I wasn't sure what I wanted here - WBA winning would extend their lead on Sunderland and be not ideal from an actually getting into the playoff POV, but I was kind of hoping that Ipswich finished top 2, and then if Sunderland did get in the playoffs, it would be very hard to potentially negotiate past both Leeds and Southampton. That said, Ipswich have only taken 8 points from their last 8 games before today (1 win, 5 draws), whereas in the same period, Southampton have won 7 and drawn 2 of their last 9, and went from 13 point behind, to 2 points clear, and realistically, it was always going to be very hard for Ipswich to sustain their form and compete against the 2 relegated sides, so probably want WBA to win. Ipswich just missed a sitter to level there.
  17. A fairly strong Forest side going the 120 mins tonight vs Bristol City shouldn't do our chances any harm.
  18. I've bought 4 tickets, 2 adults, 2 concessions, £13 is very good value for a good family day out. Match should be well poised, with both sides currently topping their regional 3rd tier: I assume it's decided on the day, and not two legs, or a replay, and if so does anyone know if their could be ET, or straight to pens?
  19. Huge win for Spennymoor, their first since November 11th. After taking only 3 points from their last 11 games (3 draws) they went from playoff hopefuls to relegation candidates, but a big 2-1 win away to fellow strugglers Southpart.
  20. Just checked, and aye, so that would definitely be the most logical match.
  21. 6 of the last 9 league games are away, and it will probably be too near for the Derby and Pompey cup matches to be at SJP, so realistically only Liverpool Feds or Huddersfield if they were wanting to have a match at SJP. I thought they might have had the Pompey match there, but they usually announce them about 5 weeks in advance. More chance of a bigger crowd later in the year I guess.
  22. Forest won 6-0 away to bottom team Fylde with 3 late goals, which could prove significant at the end of the season. They've now won 8 in a row since we beat them at the City Ground, 5 in the league and 3 in the FA Cup. If Burnley win or draw next week then the league could be ridiculously tight between the 3 clubs with all of them potentially within one win of each other.
  23. Can't believe how tight the top of the league above is (2nd tier). Sunderland lost at Reading earlier in the day, but then Birmingham (who had won at least 5 in a row) lost against Watford, and Charlton could only draw at home to Lewes. Palace beat Southampton in a battle of the promotion contenders.
