This is one of those odd myths that's commonly accepted as fact. Anita was not better than Yedlin defensively. He absolutely was mind.

Anita was much better than Yedlin last season defensively, I know people don't like to hear that because Yedlin is rapid and has a nice haircut but Anita was much more solid overall.

If these are the signings hes pushed for, whether they be underwhelming or not then at least he should be happy for now, would like to see us go after some serious quality for the remaining glaring positions, CM, 10 and ST.

At very least if Rafa is happy with these underwhelming signings then at least he will stay on and hopefully get a lot out of them for a comfortable first season back.

The thing is I got the impression Rafa preferred Colback over Hayden, if we dont bring anyone else in I could see him starting with Shelvey against Spurs, which would be absolute :anguish:

If Rafa stays anywhere from 8th-13th, if he goes I think its nailed on relegation, so went for 15th because I'm not sure We could be going into the season with Colback as a starting CM still, if that happens then best will be 15th even with Rafa.
