  1. Just had a notification on my lock screen.. "Sky Sports - Newcastle takeover - Premier League refuse.." Shit myself ?
  2. Why do you think that, considering he regularly replies publicly when people ask him for an update? Just look at his profile. I don't doubt that he has replied to you, but that if he did know that it's all done, he'll still be saying to you and everyone else that it's still with the PL. One message from him saying it's done and it will be all over twitter with the screenshot ending his source connection with Staveley.
  3. To be honest even if it is done Caulken won't admit to it in a DM from someone he doesn't know on twitter. He's well in there with Staveley and he's not going to piss on his own bonfire. The info he releases seems to be somewhat given the nod from his source. That's why he's reliable, and I'd be very very surprised if we hear from him confirming its all done before a statement from them.
  4. If we want to be taken as a serious threat in all competitions then we need a squad full of quality players. Having someone like John stones on our books is exactly what we need. Until we get Champions League football we can't turn our noses up at these type of players.
  5. Just seen a clip of the coming weeks motd where they are talking about big names coming to the Premier league. Ian Wright talks about how he could see Mbappe at Man Utd and Liverpool. Shearer then asks him (with a smirk) about seeing him at Newcastle Big Al knows something!
  6. Would love to see Shearer back as it's much deserved. Not sure how it would conflict with him being a pundit. Doubt he would want to do both and not sure if he could?
  7. Can you give some examples of things they've posted that have subsequently turned out to be "spot on"? Thanks. I explained it poorly. It seems they post news items that can be found elsewhere, however they are very careful what they post, and don't want to post rumours as such but events related to PIF that as far as I can see are spot on. They don't seem to post rumours just for clicks on their site.
  8. Has that site posted anything that hasn't come true? Everything I've seen has been spot on so far, they seem to post stuff related to the takeover, albeit a few days later than all the journos etc, but this appears to be the first time they've posted a rumour before anyone else.
  9. Seems more like, after PL approval, its the legal stuff, ie Barclays and money transfers. When it us all done 100% it will be announced. I would expect Barclays to be notified of a change of owner after it has been approved. Can't think why they would need any of that info if there is still a chance that the sale doesn't go through.
  10. Was it around now that his contract regarding Spurs gardening leave finished?
  11. Read the other day that the Premier League want to make sure their end is watertight with regards to any legal action taken against them because of this. Not exactly sure what they would need to tighten but maybe that itself could explain the unexpected delay viewpoint from the buyers?
  12. You can guarantee he'll actually be thinking he is in with a chance of coming back here.
  13. I live 5 mins away from Norwich Airport and my garden is under the flight path for take off and landing. I actually heard a plane a while ago which is the first time I've heard anything for weeks, usually just choppers on the way to the rig. Too cloudy to see what kind of plane it was though ?
  14. Read the other day that some former board member of the Premier league said loads have failed in the past, they just weren't made public.
  15. Norwich mustn’t have a penny. Think Norwich is around £30M, Burnley at the bottom around £100M.
  16. Someone on twitter earlier said that a plane from Saudi was on the flight path to Newcastle. Could tie in with the meeting on Tuesday?
  17. Possibility of Haaland leaving Dortmund in 2022. Perfect timing ?
  18. Couldn't access it all day. From around 10am until it finally worked around 4pm. I'm on android using chrome.
  19. An excellent post on reddit - My guess based on what we know - St James Holdings will be owned by JV1 Ltd (20%) and NCUK Investments Ltd (80%). JV1 in turn would be 50/50 Cantervale (Staveley) and RB Sports (Reubens), while NCUK is 100% PIF. So that would mean now the corporate vehicles to purchase St James' Holdings are now in place. Now all that they have to do is purchase the shares...
  20. More documents added to Companies House today. Cantervale Holdings Limited receiving 50% shares in JV1 Limited. My guess is that the 20% shares of NUFC for the Reubens and Staveley will held in JV1 Limited. (from twitter)
  21. Look on the plus side... I think that's why it exactly HAS happened.
  22. Isn't that exactly whats in Dokko's post, something from PCP to St James Holdings? I dunno much about companies house stuff tbf. Yes, some of the one's associated with the club have changed, although why St James Holdings is lending money is a strange one. Could it be a charge for some kind of Deposit? Someone on twitter has said it means Ashley takes the club back if they default on the loan? Wouldn't surprise me for him to insert something like that.
  23. Just a thought, how about no games being played but repeating the results of when the last time the fixture was played early in the season? This would then decide final league placings and free up more time to finish the cup competitions?
  24. Manager doesn't want to change previous manager's system because can't think of anything better shock
  25. Licks his lips just as much as carver. Fucking awful manager.
