Haha apologies. I was actually just trolling there for a personal giggle. I will pop off for now as it seems the Howe Out and Howe In groups have solidified their stances and are now going round in circles and will likely go on for the next 3 weeks. Let’s see what happens

Brilliant piece. Yes there are mitigating circumstances. But they don’t absolve Howe of all blame, responsibility or consequences. Hence mitigating. Ultimately Howe is paid handsomely to take responsibility for the team’s performances on the pitch and he has played a large part in the team failing in many respects this season. He even admits that himself.
-
Alonso and Nagelsmann would be a step up on Howe. No doubt about it. The point is I agree that if you are sacking Howe you need to invest and get someone better. Guardiola to City was a surprise move but money talks and the Saudi’s are richer than the City owners
-
I suppose it ultimately comes down to how important is it to the board to kick on and compete for titles. If the goal is to become the best club in the premier league or atleast compete for titles and trophies regularly then they should sell a few assets this summer to help fund a significant rebuild and invest big in a top manager such as Alonso or Nagelsman. Like City going from Mancini to Guardiola. If they are happy getting Europe every other season and some nice European runs every few years then you may as well just keep Howe.
-
Interesting, looking at the Bournemouth fanbase many stating they wouldn’t take Eddie back now as Iraola, according to them, is a significantly better manager. People on here deride Iraola, but he’s barely had any budget and basically lost his defence in the summer yet he is still developing talent and unearthing gems and playing a good style of football. Imagine what he could do with £500m
-
Howe is likely going nowhere. Hes got this club wrapped round his little finger and I think the Saudi’s are not that arsed about the club to make a statement manager signing. Let’s see what absolute dog shit Andy Howe can cook up in the Summer
-
How many have had £500m to spend on a squad?
-
The Eddie Howe FC lot have really gone off the deep end
-
Sunderland for an example
-
I just don’t think Howe really gets it. He doesn’t understand the derby and thinks it’s like a game against Brentford. The players never look up for it and lose a lot of second balls. Whereas Sunderland always want it a lot more. That Sunderland player at the end that made the mistake was crying with happiness/ relief when they pulled it back. The ones that seem to get it are Burn, Bruno and Joelinton.
-
Can’t see him going to Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool. He’s kinda proven that he can’t really use technical players and struggles to breakdown the low block, which these teams play against every game.
-
Delap is barely good enough for the Championship lol. He’s scored like 2 goals all season with top talent feeding him. Ask any Chelsea fan and they will say he is one of the worst signings they have made. Yet Howe and Howe nephew will no doubt spunk £60m on him once Gordon has gone.
-
Of course no one has a perfect record but it’s clear Howe prefers certain type of players. He doesn’t have a clue what to do with technical players such as Woltemade. Would you really trust Howe with another £150m and sale proceeds from Gordon and Bruno to build a squad that will consistently get CL? He’ll go out and buy Delap and Bowen etc.
-
£55m could have been spent soo much better than Elanga even if he ends up reaching Barnes level.
-
He’s already spunked over £100m on Elanga and Wissa. He cannot be trusted in the transfer window to correct this. If so, it’s nailed on he goes for Delap.
-
Who cares what is his value is when he leaves. He cannot even beat Sunderland. People making out Howe is a god because he won the Carabao cup.
-
Nagelsmann - could look to get back into club football Iraola - contract expires in the Summer Tuchel - contract expires in the Summer Glasner - leaving in the Summer Sebastian Hoeneß - statistically one of the best managers in Europe Conte - free agent and serial winner Simone Inzaghi - one of the top managers in Serie A Wildcard Xavi - would be interesting to see what he can do with the team Mourinho - people will disagree with this one but a sentimental part of me wouldn’t be against this
-
Do people really think Howe is the best manager in the world and no one can replace him?
-
So because we sold a player and didn’t get first choice in a few positions Howe wasn’t backed? That happens at every club… The Club spent nearly £250m in the summer on the squad… How much should they have spent £500m?
-
lol what? 1. Paid £70m for one of the top striking talents in Europe so much so Bayern Munich lost their minds. 2. Paid £50m for one of the best PL attackers last season. 3. Paid £55m for Howe’s choice on the wing. 4. Paid £40m for a new CB. 5. Brought Howe’s mate from Bournemouth (Ramsdale). 6. Appointed Howe’s nephew on the leadership team for transfers In what world is paying over £200m in the summer not backing the manager? Have we become City and Chelsea fans and lost our minds?
-
Too many people are Eddie Howe fans rather Newcastle United fans. Kinda wild if you think about it.
-
Howe may be a young manager but I’ve seen no real willingness from him to try to adapt and improve. He plays the same shite 433 with wingers up top every week, and brings on Willock and Murphy every time. I am not sure where this young dynamic coach narrative is coming from?
-
Seems there are some fans who are more of a fan of Eddie Howe than Newcastle. Unfortunately, all his credit in the bank has gone.

A different class to any players on the pitch tonight
