  1. Love seeing Madrid players lose their minds after every loss
  2. Thats a bit of an exaggeration. Plenty managers with different ideas and tactics can take us forward. Howe isn’t the be all and end all.
  3. Hopefully club goes all in on Iraola in the summer could be a real project acquisition. He can lose his best players and still kick on, imagine what he could do with Howe type money.
  4. Iraola, Alonso, Glasner, Marseca, Tuchel, Zidane available for free in the summer. The club has no excuse now.
  5. His attitude has been appalling this season. Spends the majority of the game smashing into people needlessly then whining at the ref. Major sign he’s way off it and getting frustrated at himself and the team.
  6. Even Bournemouth have gone way past what the fans could imagine with Howe. I bet at the time they thought they couldn’t do better considering what he had done for the club.
  7. I think the point was basically Howe is an elite manager and we would regret letting him go. I disagree but ultimately it’s a really pointless discussion as it comes down to personal opinion, conjecture and know one has a clue what is going to happen and what other clubs think.
  8. If Newcastle were performing at the level we should be I wouldn’t say those clubs are particularly a step up or the elite of the elite
  9. Honest question, let’s say if he stays in the summer and we miss Europe next year would you want to move on or keep him?
  10. I am sure you will support whichever team he goes to, save for Sunderland
  11. Apologies your feelings got hurt but fans are deluded if they think Arsenal and Liverpool will be after him. Liverpool will likely go for Alonso and Arsenal a title winning manager or Fabregas for a new project. Howe is great at making an average team hit above its level with pure power and athleticism but he hasn’t shown any evidence he has a clue how to make a possession based team that can break down the low block. He’s the man before the man. Similar to a Moyes type manager.
  12. He can’t break down the likes of Bournemouth and Brighton. No chance he ends up at Liverpool lol.
  13. Most top teams will realise he doesn’t know how to use to technical players
  14. lol the Howe FC masks slips further. There isn’t much better than Newcastle. No way he goes to an elite CL side
  15. Fabregas would be a great project and I think a realistic target
  16. We are playing Crystal Palace’s B team just get the ball down and out play them but I understand Howe can’t really achieve that tactically so he has to hope the press will work. A tactic suitable for a Burnley or Leeds but not a team looking to compete with the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona etc in the Champions League. It reminds me of the old England teams where we had good grafters but no technical players which meant we always got dominated by the continental teams. Of course England set up St George’s Park and invested a lot in training young talent in the technical aspects of the game and now we are better and more consistent than ever.
  17. I really despise the anti-football kick off he does where we just punt it out for a throw in and give possession away the first kick of the game. Sets the tone and something even Tony Pulis would be embarrassed to do 10 years go but it’s seen as a lot more acceptable now. It’s something a lot of managers did start of the season but quickly realised it didn’t really work yet Howe persists with it. Kinda encapsulates Howe’s mentality where he will just keep hammering plan A in the hope it works eventually. I think most the Eddie Howe out crowd just don’t believe he will truly revolutionise his system over the summer and I’ve personally not seen any evidence from Howe that he is willing to. Even at the weekend he was talking about just needing to execute better.
  18. Rafa also did a lot for the club and has won titles separately, doesn’t mean he hasn’t been found out at the top level and should be given the manager role. Managers naturally have shelf lives and past achievements slowly fade away and become less relevant. The question is has Howe reached his shelf life with the club.
  19. Would love for the Howe FC lads to explain how it’s the board’s fault our defence which comprises experienced and international players such as Livramento, Botman, Burn, Schar, Thiaw, Hall and Trippier has been soo bad this season.
  20. Our biggest problem has been defence bud
  21. About what? Unlike you, I am not in this thread 24/7 with my head up Howe’s arse.
  22. Why would they get the same scrutiny. They’ve spent well over £500m since coming in and backed Howe in the summer massively, spending the most in Newcastle’s history. Howe has failed on the pitch. It ain’t the same.
