Hugo Viana has a great left foot, would end your set penis problems, but still lacks some of the "Premier League" intensity. In the biggest games in Portugal sometimes it shows. Anyway, definitely a good player. Him + 2 or 3 players catapulted Braga to a superior level, culminating in a 2nd place in Portuguese League (2009/10) and an Europa League final (2010/11). Sporting are trying to sign him.

how many of those speak English? Communication is of massive importance when you're a CB. Hard to justify if it's going to take them 6 months to learn the language. Well ideally he'd speak English as a primary language but English players are expensive and American/Australian players are crap. Hoping for a bite http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01653/onyewu_1653067c.jpg Onyewu brings me only good memories. One of the few defenders that makes Cardozo look fast and agile.

Spectators this season (2012/2013) P. Ferreira - 24.344 Benfica B - 23.072 The numbers are accurate. They have the lowest attendance in the portuguese first division. Only 5 clubs have more than 10k/game: Benfica, Porto, Sporting, Braga and Guimarães.

They work well, that's basically it. While other portuguese clubs struggle to pay their salaries, promising more than they can handle, they are rigorous and honest to all the players and staff. Instead of buying tons of brazilians, they invest in lower leagues players. Portuguese players. I bet they will have some nice deals by the end of the season as well. Oh, and they try to play and have possession. They don't sit waiting, no matter what's the opponent. Even in Estádio da Luz, they tried to press higher than most teams. That's a key factor. Positive football = positive results. 2 games left. If they win one, or Braga fails to win both, they will be in the Champions League playoff. While spending way less than Sporting or Braga. By only being there, even if they get destroyed, the 2013/14 season is paid. Their manager, Paulo Fonseca, will surely progress in his career. Braga may be the next step for him. I would keep an eye on him, he's still young, 40.

According to them, they have 31 league titles. Still counting the ones that were later lost due to corruption.

In portuguese, "lost" (as in "that team lost the game") is translated as "perdeu". Says it all really. Shocking lack of ambition.

Nabil Ghilas. Algerian born in Marseille, so I believe there wouldn't be any problems regarding the work permit. Striker, as it seems you desperately need one or two more. Made a joke of Porto, Sporting and Braga (check his goal against Braga yesterday). 13 goals in portuguese league (only Jackson Martinez, Cardozo and Lima scored more), and the bigger clubs in Portugal are interested in signing him. Despite that, the one club that really needs him is Sporting. Ghilas is their main target after selling Wolfswinkel. You could easily pay more than them, 2-3M€ would be enough to buy him. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink went directly from Boavista to Leeds (without playing for any of the 3 bigger portuguese clubs) and did pretty well.

Jorge Jesus: "In football everything can happen, but I told my players that we already had eliminated Newcastle and Bayer, stronger teams than Fenerbahce".

23 years later, an european final. 7 CL finals, 2 uefa cup finals. Over the moon.

Fucking 3 minutes. Nervous.

Personally I don't like him that much. Players that kiss every symbol they wear and leave when the money is good don't mean that much to me. I respect him, but don't admire him. I prefer Ramires honestly. More low profile, but seemed a genuine guy. Ref

You're drunker than I thought mate.

With what I seen in the first leg (pen + goal from an nonexistent corner) and this 2nd leg (pen after a clear offside) I believe the diving is the smaller problem here. And yea, we're diving.

51 years ago, on the exact same day, May 2, in Amsterdam, we won the European Cup. Half a century later, Amsterdam is the goal once again. http://24.media.tumblr.com/12a6cb51fac0f7577b6e5df9bc7adeb2/tumblr_mm65nu82lG1qikp70o1_1280.jpg
