  1. Mad how many games there are this time of year like
  2. Have seen Arsenal fans saying that despite all the complaints about him they do play better when Xhaka plays. Also he's generally excellent for Switzerland and every manager he's ever had seems to rate him highly
  3. Good that you're giving him a chance at least
  4. How is that not a second yellow for Winks?
  5. New stadiums are shite no matter how modern and posh they are
  6. Very few players consistently outperform their xG every season
  7. It's the most wonderful time of the year
  8. He barely played in his proper position for ages tbf. Been good since moving to right back
  9. Their expected points is way higher than their actual points so think they've just been unlucky Leicester's results way outperformed their xG until recently also
  10. The touch by that Monterrey player before that shot
  11. Been really impressed by Monterrey, all very tidy and also threatening
  12. Monterrey doing well against Liverpool. 1-1, live on the Beeb
  13. Presume this is a ploy by the Dutch to extradite him to the Hague for war crimes
  14. "John Delaney could run anything, he could run FIFA"

Have no recollection of Diame wearing number 15
  17. Balague knows nowt. Said Ancelotti wasn't interested the other day
  18. Owner's mental and is suing a load of the players
  19. Two clubs who finished on under 70 points each, nowhere even reaching second in the league, while the likes of Portugal, Holland, Russia, etc have no representatives. Personally think it’s sad where the Champions League is going. Agree with the broader point but it's much more of an issue that the likes of Man City, Barca, Real are basically guaranteed to make the knockouts every year. Its Atalanta's first time ever in the competition Hasn’t that always been the case though? Bayern, Real Madrid, Liverpool, etc dominating European competition. It’s too late now though, European football is broken. Aye but if you're complaining about inequality in the game I think its a bit ridiculous to hold Atalanta in their first season in the competition with a wage bill not in the top 10 in Serie A up as the problem
  20. Nobody watches Ligue 1 so it's hard to gauge where he's at but when I do see him it's clear that there aren't many footballers better than him around and he was outstanding at Barca

  22. That team desperately need someone who will sort their defense out. Should go all out for Simeone. Rafa would have been a good choice too. Look up Simeone's wages. They're absolutely mental Know nowt about Arteta but I don't think they're capable of getting a really top coach so may as well take a punt
