Probably shouldn’t have to mark the opposition’s centre half mind Not like Pogba is a tiny winger? You just said “can’t trust him”. If you can’t then why is he marking one of Chelsea’s centre halves? Cos I don't manage Man Utd mate. Right so you’re agreeing with me then

Rudiger seems to be a canny player now
-
He's a centre mid isn't he?

You have some mental views on football like
-
such a weird fucking transfer that one man He was a class player
-
Schweinsteiger
-
He’d probably be a worse number 10 than whoever they have playing there now. Alaba started out at Bayern as a centre mid and that’s where he plays for Austria so not really the same
-
Cyrus Christie seems to be playing centre mid

You probably didn't realise that because its completely inaccurate Alright alright, put it awaaaaay. Okay, sorry, there's international football in September, October, November, January, February, March, and June. What international football is there in January and February? Also don't say "every single fucking month" if you don't want it to be taken literally

Aye, and its way better than normal qualifiers. Similar teams playing against each other rather than hammerings. I watched Slovakia-Czech Republic earlier and it was canny

Coleman, Brady and McCarthy are injured. We are shite though, aye

Gibraltar must be after improving loads. Looked like a Sunday league team against Ireland a few years ago while Armenia looked decent the last time Ireland played them

If Rafa was to leave I think Brendan Rodgers is the best we could hope for under this regime

Not having an academy ffs what an absolute joke of a club we’ve become

Didn’t realise Monaco were doing so badly. Jardim should’ve taken the China money in hindsight

There's something so pure about when Arsenal score goals like that vs. if Man City got a similar goal for example, Wilshere's a few years ago after a great team move was the same. Its like they're never in full control of what's happening and its totally off the cuff whereas with other teams it seems a bit more pre planned

It certainly doesn't sum up the next generation of English players that are coming through. Hopefully not. I’m not up to date on some of the younger players coming through outside of the obvious ones that have already started to emerge so I wouldn’t know. I like Arnold and Gomes for Liverpool mind, they seem quite composed and have a good touch and technique when on the ball which is needed at the highest level. Have a look on YouTube for Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden, and Mason Mount. All technical players with loads of potential. I’ll take your word for it, but even so in order for the national team to truly benefit from such a crop of talent and indeed them as individuals they need to play football regularly and in a team or under a manager who encourages their natural game and doesn’t have them running around like headless chickens and flying into tackles. Watching Silva today, he is obviously a physically competitive player and who works hard, but you rarely see him put in a tackle or chase around after someone or the ball. Compare that to Milner. It’s a side of his game that helps his team and is needed at times, but I’ve always felt it’s last ditch stuff and over compensates for a lack of skill and technique and indeed brains. If a player like him has time on the ball and space, he looks like a rabbit caught in headlights. Players like Silva with time and space kill you and if they don’t have time or space, their technique, touch and control gets them out of trouble. You don’t see players like him just hoof the ball away because there isn’t a pass on or he’s being closed down quickly. Bit of a long post and rant I know but it’s a pet hate of mine and allows garbage like Colback and Alan Smith a career and even fan worship. It’s what breeds your Pardew’s and Allardyces. Silva's (both of them come to think of it) actually the player that Phil Foden reminds me most of. You're always going on about Phil Foden. Let it go KI, you're never going to meet him

Great goal by Messi. So many of his goals are from him starting the move and then getting it back
-
Top 3 teams are all on same points Arsenal close in pursuit. It's fascinating, this season has potential to be one of the most interesting in a while. Aye, I'm just speaking in terms of quality though. I'm sure they'll all improve anyway as the season goes on anyway
-
To be honest this applies worldwide. Real Madrid are shiite, Barca are shiite, Bayern are shiite (currently 5th in Bundesliga), Juve are shiite but they're in a ridiculously weak league at the moment. That's my point. Those teams are playing shite and losing games. Man City, Liverpool and Spurs especially haven't really started firing this season at all yet are doing well in terms of points. Not sure how Juve are shite mind and Serie A is probably better than the Bundesliga and not far off the PL
-
PL's been fairly shite so far this season. None of Liverpool, Man City or Spurs are playing that well compared to last year yet have loads of points on the board
-
Sane is so good, annoying he doesn't play every week
