No idea how you think that, like. Swansea were battered, WBA lost, Southampton drew, Stoke drew. It could have been way, way worse. Almost as bad as the "watch them be world beaters against us" anytime a relegation rival beat a team that isn't a relegation rival

Glad we’re playing this at lunchtime and not as the Monday night match. Can be a tough away game (like all London derbies). Predictably, of the 18 different paragraphs on the BBC ticker, only three are about the Spurs match (the first one, after all) and one of those is announcing the team. The other 15 are about Man U/Chelsea. I like it actually, nice to fly under the radar a bit. I'm sure it was the same when you were playing Arsenal. Media being more interested in match between two good teams than match between one good team and one bad team shock

I don't think either miss is that bad in isolation. Shelvey is put under a bit of pressure and the pass wasn't great and Perez' was a breaking ball that he just had to stab his foot at. You would expect to score at least one of them mind

It is really weird tbh. When Murphy looked hopeless at the start of the season Rafa kept giving him chances which worked and then he was doing quite well and suddenly doesn't play anymore. Must be something in training/personal

Nope. Came on for Kenedy. And should have scored? Well, he could had shot but he passed it to Shelvey who missed a sitter. Ta. Interesting description of subs costing us the game. Hayden for Gayle was a poor IMO but don't have a problem with the other two

I only saw it once or twice but Shelvey's miss was more a mix of Atsu hesitating too much and their two defenders doing really well than being a terrible miss IMO

What would you ask for like if Chelsea rang up? Liverpool have just set the bar with Van Dyke. Van Dijk is much better on the ball. He wouldn't have went for near that if he was just a Dutch version of Lascelles, even if Lascelles is perhaps an equal or maybe better defender

Mourinho decided to buy Lukaku so I would say it is his fault. If he doesn't want Pogba to go wandering then don't play him in a position where he has so much defensive responsibility. It's not like it's a secret that Pogba doesn't defend well so that's his fault too. The big names don't give 10/10 performances because their manager looks clueless as to how to set them up going forward. They just play like individuals and that's down to the manager
