Aarons loves preseason -
Box to box and "Alonso-lite" don't go together for me
-
Seems strange. Some people are comparing him to Xabi Alonso while others seem to have him down as a more all action midfielder. Excited regardless
-
Don't care tbh. Yeah, me neither. He's foreign and costs more than £10m, get the bugger in Basically the only reason I'm excited
-
Excited about this if it happens
-
How many players do we have that are proven decent Premier League players? Its not like Celtic haven't had players that have gone on to do well in the PL, Van Dijk, Wanyama, Forster in recent years. I'd definitely take a chance on Roberts if available
-
I don't think he's a very good man manager just based on his demeanour when he was here. Seemed very aloof and pissed off on the touchline when he was here under Schteve
-
It's a plan that limits them to always being in the bottom half of the table but all the players having the same culture is probably good for morale and team spirit
-
Would love that. Really good dribbler
-
Tbf Monaco were doing the same thing until their owner got divorced
-
I already said Townsend. Sissoko and Janmaat were absolute donkey shit that season. Wijnaldum scored goals, but was a dead weight away from home. Look at the players we've gained since then vs the ones you just mentioned. Reputations aside I'd prefer the likes of Ritchie and Gayle. Not getting into another argument about it but the way Sissoko played as a 10 under Rafa is a big improvement on what we have in that position at the moment
-
I didn't advocate him starting fwiw
-
Aye well clearly I was talking shite then
-
It made Pickford's career
-
Tbf bringing players in on big wages and then not playing them much is an issue when trying to sell them
-
There's no real evidence of that tbf. If he was our best keeper, i doubt he'd be jumping around from Eredivisie loan to the next and if reports are right not actually performing that well. Because he was our best keeper 3 years or so ago doesn't mean he still is. He came back late from injury and the other keeper was performing well at Ajax. At AZ he started poorly which is to be expected after a very long layoff but ended the season decently apparently
-
Doesn't really matter. Griffiths will score loads there anyway
-
He's training with the reserves
-
Really strange. He's our best keeper as it stands yet he's not even getting a chance
-
What does this even mean? How did he prop up Pardew's tenure?
-
Well they just signed Morata I meant as well as Morata. They currently list their strikers as Michy Batshuayi, Diego Costa and Alvaro Morata. If Costa leaves they'll need a replacement. We need Chelsea to have 3 strikers not including Batshuayi to have a chance of him going on loan. They only had two last season They didn't have European football last season. More games this time round. Still barely used Batshuayi at all until the title was won

Would you prefer if the owners kept the money instead?
