Off the top of my head, the past couple of seasons, all of these have played at least one game for NUFC. Sterry, Sammy Ameobi, Armstrong, Dummett, Mbabu, Barlaser, Findlay, El-Mhanni. All have played at youth levels for NUFC and first team within the past two seasons. Mbabu did well when he got a chance when we had no other options and still got sold, same with Abeid. Has Armstrong started a game for Newcastle? Sammy and Dummett are 25 and the rest were only given a chance in the cup which we didn't care about

Mitrovic is absolute fucking garbage man. The sooner people accept that the better. The guy hasn't the slightest clue how to be a striker 9 goals in 30 starts in his first premier league season, thats not garbage at all. We could do better but hes definitely got something. He is young though and needs to improve. He had much less than 30 starts, 22 or something iirc. I think 3 of his goals came off the bench as well, and he scored two penalties (one of those off the bench) so 5 goals from play in 22 starts really. He was generally much better off the bench in the PL and the complete opposite in the Championship

Slimani is basically 1 in 2 for goals per 90 minutes in the PL last season tbf

Maybe an unpopular opinion but the Premier League would be unbelievably grim without Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. Beating those kind of teams is generally the highlight of the season That's why football is fucked with views like this. Beating man United or Chelsea is now ranked like some fa cup giantkilling it's a disgrace It's not a fucking highlight of a season if you're in the same division Football is fucked well and truly....the bubble will burst at some time Nah even when we were good beating those kind of teams were massive highlights of seasons
