  1. Wonder if someone decent will go for Stam. Did well with the incredibly limited team he had there
  2. Stop letting centre halves take pens
  3. Wednesday were awful from what I saw in the semi
  4. Why? They finished above Huddersfield in the table. Cos they're getting battered and have no good players Battered. [emoji38] They were on top, but they haven't even tested the Reading GK yet. They've missed an open goal and a free header already. Although it clearly has been a bit more even since then

  6. It'll be a travesty if Reading win this
  7. It's preferable to the sarcastic priest off Father Ted (Lawrenson) but aye he's dull. Nah Lawro is actually funny. Murphy is just annoying
  8. lucky b******. "Last season, the Brazilian centre-back Anderson Conceicao made headlines when he revealed that former Real Mallorca manager Joaquin Caparros used pornography to try and motivate his players before a La Liga game against Athletic Bilbao. “In the team talk ahead of the game Caparros showed us a video with images from a porn film. We were shocked, we didn't understand anything of what we were watching. “He told us: ‘On the pitch, you need to play as hard as this guy’, and he pointed at the screen.”" [emoji23]
  9. You not seen him in the Champions League? He's class
  10. He only started slightly over half of the games last season. That's why
  11. Yeah, I can see it being a healthy contest between those two as to who should be the first choice. Gray and that Kamoah lad have only got one year left on their contracts. Get both of them, and Abraham on loan, and striking options of Gayle, Gray, Abraham and Kamoah for maybe 15 million would be ok for a first season back in the premiership. I'd rather we went 5-10 million more and got someone whose proven to score 15+ PL goals, but Abraham, Gayle and Gray have all hit 20+ in the Championship, and i'd imagine it would be good for competition as none are clearly better than the other so you wouldn't have someone who expects to start most/every game. It would also free up some money to spend on midfield and defence which is sorely needed. We don't need four strikers when we are only going to be playing with one
  12. Strange timing with Neil Taylor being banned for the next few games
  13. Tactical perfection tbf. Beautiful in its own way. Fuck off man An approach like this isn't below Rafa, and if it brought home a European trophy, it would indeed be beautiful. Can't remember Rafa's Chelsea playing like this against Benfica in the final when he was there, and Benfica were a much better team than this Ajax are Anyway it's nowhere near beautiful either way If it were an Italian side, everyone would be, rightly, creaming over the tactical approach. Majestic. Shite football managed by dickheads is your nectar Not really sure that the greatest club manager of the last 15 years can be equated with Pardew like. Appreciate Mou went too mainstream for the 'desperate to be hipster' brigade. I can't get my head around the way you think, like. The football he has teams playing is absolutely shite and you're a neutral, so why do you care if it wins trophies? I don't care in the slightest tbf. Ideally I'd want the English top 6 to all crumble out of existence and never lift a trophy again. Appreciate a Mourinho tactical masterclass and the preparation which goes into it, that is all. We had mugs moaning about Rafa's 'practical' approach. For me it doesn't matter one iota if it's successful. How is it a masterclass to beat a team like Ajax with Man Utd?

    England

Got an offside one against Hull
  15. I'm pretty sure Foluwashola hates Alex Ferguson as well, which makes no sense given his views on Mourinho
  16. Surely Shakespeare deserves a chance there?

Is it hipster to not like shit football and dislike people who eye gouge and get other people fired for doing their job now? I'll happily be a hipster if so
  18. I firmly believe that if Man City played that game they would've won 4-1 playing brilliant football and nobody would be calling Guardiola a genius

Majestic. The problem isn't defensive football. It's doing it against a team they could easily beat anyway if they played more exciting football and whose budget they dwarf. If we beat Crewe in a cup game playing like that I wouldn't be happy This is silly. Why would Mourinho deliberately not use the tactics he knew would win the game cos a handful of people get upset about them? I didn't say he would. I just don't think he should be lauded as a genius for beating a way inferior team playing dull football and it's clearly not beautiful to anyone with eyes.
