  1. Victor Moses destroyed us for Wigan once iirc
  2. Suarez when Arsenal tried to sign him was the same
  3. Even without it wouldn't be much more Spoken like a man ITK
  4. Next to offload Sissoko for £2m and we'll be fine
  5. This place isn't half as much fun when we don't have a hate figure/simpleton as manager
  6. John Stones will probably cost best part of £50m and he's not that good. Would be the most expensive defender ever, and would cost about half of Pogba, so thanks for defending my point John Stones is nowhere as good as Pogba though

    Adam Armstrong

If he doesn't get a chance this season he'll never get a chance if we get promoted. I'd be giving him as much of a chance as possible
  8. Players with a long term vision sometimes arrive à la Ritchie and Gayle. Guess which ones will be the winners in 12 months time? Gayle came because he wasn't wanted at Palace, Ritchie probably came for more money Like I said. Ambition and long term vision. wat

  10. Yep Enough of this shit - he would have played many games here too. The least he could have done was to wait until January and then reassess. But no, instead he prefered to fuck off back to London at the earliest opportunity. There's still not a lot between Palace in the PL and NUFC in the championship - Rafa would tell you! He won't get in the England squad playing in the Championship How do you know? I'm sure Buffon played for Italy when Juve were in Serie B. (Irrelevant of respective ability and reputation) Name the last England player to get a cap while playing in the second tier. Also your Buffon example is nothing like this scenario The reason lower league players don't get called up for their national teams is because they are not good enough. If Townsend performs in the Championship, having already proved himself for England (to some capacity of course) and in the PL, then he would have been called up. Therefore, it definitely is like the Buffon scenario. I doubt he would have. Championship players are generally forgotten about when it comes to England squads. Especially under a new manager who hasn't seen him playing for one of his teams before. It's not like the Buffon situation at all, Buffon had just won the World Cup and probably had about 50 or 60 caps at the time. Townsend is a fringe player

  13. So based on pre seasons I assume the definite starters for this are Sels, Lascelles, Ritchie, Gayle, Ayoze. Probably Janmaat right back, although Anita could be there if Aarons is preferred on the wing. Two of Shelvey, Hayden, Colback in centre mid. Mbemba or Hanley alongside Lascelles, probably Mbemba. Dummett probably left back but would like seeing Gamez there
  14. Like a reverse Istanbul for Rafa this
  15. Aye think she needs a drink like Probably spill most of it with those hands
  16. Seriously shaky hands on the woman with the periscope link
  17. Interesting. He has pretty quick feet and a decent cross on him in fairness
  18. I think that is a very arrogant approach to take. Fulham should be a top 10 side are at home and it's the start of the season where neither team has found a rhythm. To win this league, you should win the home games, win the away games except against the top 10 where a draw is acceptable, and do whatever we can to avoid losing (we will get away with 6 defeats) The above equals 100 points. So it isn't a downplaying of expectations, but we as a fan group should be prepared for a bit of humility - we shouldn't expect to walk the league, but we should try to win every game and expect to win the league after a long hard season. Didn't they come 20th last season?
  19. Should have accepted a packet of crisps for the two of them. In his first year for Everton Lukaku scored 16 goals, then the next year 20 then the year after 25. While he may not be Aguero he is still only 23 and is improving. Ludicrous to call him anything other than one of the best strikers in the premier league before he's even reached his prime. Yes his touch is questionable which may stop him being truly top class, but he's guaranteed goals at very high level and Everton should be demanding a hefty fee for him. Stones clearly has loads and loads of potential, Martinez has made him go backwards though. (I do agree that the amount of money some clubs has seems to have made them get incredibly lazy with scouting, there will be better value, albeit higher risk elsewhere) How has Martinez made Stones go backwards when he was the one that brought him forward in the PL? That gave him a chance? Can't coach defending though. In fairness under any other manager Stones would've been dropped long before he was
