I'm not saying he doesn't rate him but I think for sure he'll be totally ok with him going. I think he's playing a game regarding the fee tbqh. He's very replaceable and I'd trust Rafa to sort that out very quickly. Shame we couldn't have kept Townsend and kicked this bloke into touch instead. Considering his utilisation of Sissoko, I reckon he's one of the last Rafa would like to leave. Considering the amount by which the buyer will be overpaying, I think he'll somehow manage. I think he probably will manage, but that's beside the point. Given a choice he'd probably far rather keep him here, and everything he's said supports this. Now that might not chime with your opinion or others on here, but if you go by Rafa's words and actions that's the only conclusion you can come to. Whether you think he's an overrated wantaway cunt is neither here nor there, but ironic you compared him with Townsend who fucked off after 6 months to a club run by the biggest fraud in football history. The only conclusion I'll come to is the one resultant of all I witnessed him deliver these past few years and I'll be over the moon when he packs his bags and fucks off. Townsend showed more in those few months than this shitstick has in a few years. Very very very easy to replace a goal every 11 games from a midfielder and a handful of assists per season. Running so quickly with his head down and knocking people out of the way, I grant you may take a bit of replacing but I'm fairly certain we'll be ok. You can drool over Townsend alongside Pardew next season mate, personally if he gets his leg broken in the first match of the season I wouldn't give a toss. Why would I drool over a player at another club? I'd rather drool over the £20m too much we'll be getting for this hopeless cunt. He looks like a "hopeless cunt" some of the time because he firstly isn't a right winger, and secondly gets double marked because despite looking hopeless and not being a great attacker he is our biggest threat going forward. He played on the right wing for France obviously but his role was basically to win the ball, run with it and then pass it to the better players. We've never played him in this way since he joined. He's almost always been the one the rest of our team gives the ball to and hopes something happens

The bottom line IMO is that despite not being anything like an attacking midfielder he is still our biggest threat by a mile going forward. Sissoko should be used as a midfielder who drives forward with the ball and then passes it off to more talented and creative players but due to our circumstances we had to play him as our main creative player because we didn't have anyone else to create until Townsend came in. Minhosa trying to make out that Rafa doesn't rate him is hilarious considering what he's sai about him since he joined

Aye I'm sure it gets counted as a chance if its a poor delivery, that would make perfect sense

Also you guys do realise that bringing the ball up the pitch quickly is a pretty important thing for a midfielder to do?

That's it for me. Just say for arguments sake we get £20m for him. I would expect Rafa to go out and sign a better replacement for half that. You wouldn't even need £10m to replace him. So many players who are, in theory, worse deliver far more for their teams statiscally. If you looked at Sissoko's contribution, without knowing the players name/nationality etc, you'd never see an international footballer. I genuinely hope he leaves and feel the club will be far better off without him and his 'better than NUFC' attitude. You can tell by the players Rafa has recruited that we're no longer selling NUFC as a stepping stone club. In some respects we shouldn't expect anything more from this shithouse because him, and the likes of Cisse, Cabaye, Tiote etc were all sold the long term dream of using the club for their own gain. It's no wonder we've been left with a squad full of heartless cunts who care only for themselves. Rafa is very clearly going about introducing a new culture and I can't imagine there's much of a place for twats like Sissoko/Gini etc, whatever Benitez is saying publically. I'm personally delighted to see these career vultures leave. Cisse, Sissoko, Tiote etc are all just Demba Ba's without the same PR Machines behind them. NUFC will be a better place without them, a healthier environment where new players will appreciate the opportunity and, I would hope, view playing for NUFC as an honour. Something most of the shitehawks we will ship out clearly don't. It all sounds so plausible, but not a lot of it really stands up under scrutiny. He's lazy - he's not. He wants to play in the CL - well most would, and he's been here for a few years now. It's not like he bailed out after 13 matches to fuck off to Palace. Rafa is going to introduce a new culture - true, but he's given no indication that Sissoko is a problem player, if anything he seems very keen to keep him. If he wanted shot he'd have bombed him out for £3m and that would be that. Get it through your skulls, if he leaves it will be at our price point and for a 26 yr old who just starred in the Euro final it won't be for peanuts. How old is £100 million rated Payet btw, considering he flopped in the same tournament? Not sure which bit doesn't stand up to scrutiny? His contribution has been minimal since day one. Do any of the new signings strike you as 'stepping stoners'? They don't look it to me. The culture change will be clear after the summer but the departures board are almost all players with questionable application. I've not said he's lazy tbh but his contribution has been largely very very poor. As for the Champions League guff, he's been spouting it since the early days so it's not like it's new. Your opinion that Payet flopped is an interesting one. Check out the respective stats. One player hit three goals and 2 assists over the 7 games. The other got 0 of each in 5 games. He barged passed a few players though, so that was canny. He's all fart and no shit. Barging your way down the wing, knocking people over in your way is one thing. An intelligent player would actually contribute in a meaningful way. A HUGE proportion of his possession comes to nothing. Rafa will have seen this. So then my did Rafa make him captain and is desperately looking to keep hold of him?

Payet was pretty shit when it mattered too. The lack of alternatives is the problem

I saw him play once, and he destroyed West Brom in that game. Seems mint based off that one game. Saw him play quite a bit last season. Seems to have so much potential, but he is equally as frustrating as Sterling. Just seems to dribble without thinking much at all. At least he's a powerful built lad, so might actually have more potential than Raheem who is an absolute fraud. Ibe has never shown himself to be anywhere near as good as Sterling was for Liverpool when he first burst onto the scene though. Only a year younger too
-
Ibe is not as good as Sissoko man Ibe will contribute more than Sissoko. He's a good player with a far superior work rate. Moussa will be playing at 50% if he stays and will not be as good as Ibe was when he was at Derby. I'd agree with that to an extent but doesn't mean he's as good as him. Honestly don't know what people expect from Sissoko in terms of work rate though. He played right wing most of the season and the opposition left back rarely did anything, good work rate also when put left back and in midfield towards the end of the season

Ibe is not as good as Sissoko man

Ramsey was better than Bale IMO
-
People who rate how good players are based on games they didn't play in
-
We've rarely seen peak Sissoko in a Newcastle kit and people think it's because he's lazy or actually just a shit player. He's clearly a talented footballer, but if I had to play alongside absolute dogshit for three years, under the "leadership" of Pardew, Carver, and McClaren like he has, I'd be more than a little miffed as well. The times that he has attempted to make things happen on his own, he gets hounded out when it inevitably fails. Despite most of the other worthless cunts in the squad standing put doing fuck all, dicks in hand, tongues wagging. It's clear that Sissoko wants away, but I'll never understand fans who bitch and bitch about how poorly run the club is and then hound out a player who doesn't want to play for such a shithouse operation. Nailed it

Aye don't think they were half as bad as people made out in the groups. Didn't think they were going to win it of course but thought they looked decent throughout the tournament and would've scored more but for Ronaldo missing a few uncharacteristic sitters
-
Yeah I was of this opinion until I saw that they've priced away the normal supporter. Those ticket prices are absolutely insane. Didn't know about the high ticket prices. Would've thought the ticket prices would be standardised by FIFA for all World Cups Nah, They're cheap for locals (rightly enough) but iirc £80 was the cheapest for forrins. Up a fair bit on the last couple and massively compared to the Euros.

Player of the tournament

No reason why Russia won't be good like in terms of football anyway. Perfect climate
-
So two teams then? They won the Euros without him mate
-
Dunno but should probably worry more about his own performance than screaming at a much inferior player that had a much better game than him
-
In a game in which Ronaldo played 20 minutes

Brother had twenty each way on Portugal from the start of the tournament at 20/1
