Didn't think he was all that great today? He intercepted one pass brilliantly in the second half leading to a counter attack but can't remember much else he did
He needs to calm down if even just for a couple of months to get the media or referees off his back. He'll get sent off every second or third game if he keeps going the way he is. Reputation counts for an awful lot
so he's had 5 red cards since playing football as a professional since the age of 17 and he's now 20
stone him
5 in 3 years is a lot for a striker tbf. His red card today was soft but he needs to calm down his tackling in general
This. All about reputation and the ref was a load of bollocks. Didn't Sissoko commit a similar challenge and only get a yellow?
Sissoko's was down on the player's foot while Mitrovic's was a bit higher
Aye would like to see him more involved than he currently is but I think just putting him back beside one of Anita or Colback would allow him to have more influence on the game
Who are we playing next? Would like to see Perez maybe as the one up top if we are playing someone similar to ourselves where we will have some decent possession. He's not an orthodox nine but in a passing side he will keep possession and create chances for himself and others I think
Seems good. It was difficult for him being played as an isolated striker/attacking midfielder for most of the game but showed some nice touches and quick feet
It's a soft red clearly and I certainly wouldn't give it but even if the ref gave a yellow it's not good to have a striker getting a yellow card in most games. He's going to be a bit of a liability until he stops flying into challenges
Nah, just nah
I hesitated, but I stand by it.
Doesn't really matter anyway because Arsenal are a team of absolute bottlers who will never come close to winning the league
The Thauvin yellow card challenge? Thought that was a very soft yellow card like. Even if Mitrovic had got a yellow it still isn't great that your striker is getting at least a yellow in every game
