What match are you thinking would be? We're at home to the essentially possession winners of the league. We need a dude like SDJ in the squad. He isn't quick enough as we'll be generally playing on the counter when we do get it. I presume it will be Thauvin in for Obertan and Sissoko in for Perez from the last game with Anita the deeper one in a three with Colback and Wijnaldum with Wijnaldum hopefully having licence to attack when we get it. It's a tough one because you know Perez will work hard and always follow his man which will be important against the Arsenal full backs and he will also keep possession but Sissoko is probably our best player and Thauvin has to start after his performance last night you would think. I'd prefer Sissoko in the middle instead of Colback but can't see that happening

He scored 4 and assisted 3 in the league during that period (16 games). Not all that impressive when compared to someone like Colback who got 3 and 2 in the same time with all the associated handicaps. You have to look at the games rather than just quoting stats. Iniesta doesn't score or assist that many and he's one of the best midfielders of all time

Plays in one of the most attacking teams in the world while never leaving the edge of the box and manages 5 assists a season or something. Who is he supposed to pass it to? What is he supposed to do when Liverpool defend in their own box for the whole second half? He played a few nice passes into the little space they did give and they didn't control them. He kept running even though he was fucked and getting on the ball trying to make something happen. It's not a coincidence that he played better for Real, he had Ronaldo and Di Maria to give the ball to and they played on the counter a lot, under Mourinho anyway
