Think Southampton could do well, get to quarters or so. Spurs generally do okay in Europa. Hard to know with Liverpool but they should make the knockouts
-
Only if Italy do well
-
Lanzini looks decent
-
Is Bilic even at the game?
-
Eh? We got to a quarter final

Most of them were born in Kosovo to Albanian parents and then emigrated. I don't really know much about that part of the world so couldn't tell you what the chances of them playing for Albania were
-
Such as? Shaqiri, Xhaka, Dzemaili, Behrami, Mehmedi(all Switzerland), Mustafi(Germany), Januzaj(Belgium), also a few Greeks
-
None of the best players that qualify to play for Albania actually play for Albania

Well he should bother because some of those younger players will turn out to be better than what he's got. De Bruyne is better than all their attacking midfielders/wingers apart from Hazard. Lukaku is probably as good or better than Falcao and Remy But he also knows that he can just as easily throw money at either of those players and get them back whenever he wants. De Bruyne is supposedly going to Man City so I doubt they'll ever get him back, I doubt de Bruyne would ever play for Mourinho again anyway. He didn't have a good relationship with Lukaku either IIRC

It's definitely possible. A lot depends on how the midfield gels, and obviously if Mbemba adapts. A lot might also depend on how well we manage to implement an improved possession/passing game overall. If we're controlling games with the ball it'll relieve the pressure on the defence and allow them to organise better. We've been so s*** with the ball for years the defenders have always been under immense pressure in games, ran ragged basically. Very good point again. Think we just have to see what impact our change in approach has on the team, and then start to make necessary changes from there. If Colo blows it then I'm sure Pardew will still be salivating for him in January anyway. Isn't true. Martinez teams are an example. But McClaren isn't a total football manager anyway. Crazy myth. He might not be, but we won't be punting the ball back to the opposition as much as we did under Pardew. He doesn't need to be a total football manager to help improve our possession, and reduce the amount of pressure we come under. Stop being so silly man. Martinez teams have plenty of possession. They also lose the ball plenty in dangerous situations and concede plenty of goals. No one said they didn't! The point is we conceded far more, and a big problem was our total incapability of keeping the ball, and so being under constant pressure. Are you serious right now? A lot of last season we actually kept the ball a good bit but just went nowhere with it because we didn't have any creativity

And you would be disappointed. You wouldn't think we wouldn't beat USA (was it?), struggle against Algeria & Costa Rica. But the proof is in the pudding. Competition game against Greece, Ivory Coast or another S. American side with a good team at the moment and I wouldn't be confident. Chile, Colombia, Belgium are comfortably better than us man. As teams and individuals. Pretty sure we've faced Portugal in 3 or 4 times in major cup competitions in the last 15 years. They've beat us every single time. I said Chile were better than you, I watched Colombia in the Copa and they looked s*** in the main, although they do have a good side. I don't really rate Belgium You mentioned Chile twice. We haven't beaten a side in competition football as good as Belgium or Colombia since... Argentina in 2002 and they didn't even make it out the group. Be interested to see the teams we've beaten, drawn and lost in 30 years of comp. Sorry just noticed that now

Hilarious decision. Thought Colo would go to San Lorenzo when his contract ran out actually. I do think people overestimate the role of captain though

"You're on the bench Iniesta you midget cunt"
-
He just loves winning and he has the money to buy experience. He still absolutely hates young players
-
I've never seen a man to hate young players as much as Mourinho
-
Or maybe teams don't want to pay 15m for a guy on the last year of his contract with only one season at the top level
-
Soccernomics was the American version I think, Why England Lose was actually the name of it
-
Pedro was a first team player for about 2-3 seasons wasn't he?
-
What has that freak and absolute weirdo done now?

If England played any of the following in a World cup/Euros knockout game, I would expect the other team to come through, whether on penalties or in normal time: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Holland, Brazil, Argentina, Chile. Then there are the likes of Croatia, Mexico, Belgium, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, Portugal which the game could go either way and then I'd expect England to beat pretty much everyone else
-
Pundits don't pay attention to any team outside the top 6

Did you see the tackle? He barely touched him. There's a reason they didn't show the tackle in that link
