  1. David Moyes has been a serial loser in his managerial career, and you can't just shake off that tag by being promoted to a better job. Being proven every other week.
  2. The behavior of both managers was utterly embarrassing. The only reason you guys get to brag about it now is because you won the stupid game. Totally agree. Was like watching two 12 year old fights, but happy ending for us. and then Queiroz instead of celebrating telling him to shove it up his ass. Have to admit though, Carlos photoshopping Choi's face on Uzbekistan jersey made me piss myself laughing. He's a mad man. Extremely emotional and I can totally see him getting sent off from the dug-out in one of the WC games.
  3. Just read Susic (Bosnia's manager) comments about the draw and Iran. What a cocky bastard, check the history of games between the sides maybe. Hope Queiroz makes him look like a fool, just as he did with Choi (Korea's former manager). It's your first appearance in the WC Bosnia, chillax buddy. Calma !
  4. The new guy, Rouhani, is certainly moving things into the right direction, making friends with the world again. Ahmadinejad's extremeness actually damaged the national team, as the football team couldn't get any decent friendlies. In the end though, it's the lesser of 2 evils really, the country won't be a true democracy until the Islamic Republic is overthrown and I can't see it happening in the near future.
  5. Does Shola have an actual chance of a) Going to Brazil b) Starting in Brazil ? Could definitely see him scoring against Iran, he is a bit of a flat track bully. 2 goals conceded in 8 qualifying games. Best defensive record all qualified teams. Seriously doubt Shola can score against a Queiroz-managed defense mate Got tickets for Iran - Bosnia. Jealous much dude? Saw that post Not a game of big names, but that 3rd game may end up being like a play off for both teams to qualify, which should lead to a quality games. Here is hoping a Dejagah hattrick that game keeps you entertained

  7. We're going head to head it seems. Looking forward to the first game. Must win for both side. The last time Iran and Nigeria played was in 1999 I believe (or 97) in a friendly that you guys won 1-0. We've played Bosnia 3 times in the last decade. and won all 3 games: Iran 4-0 Bosnia (2000) Iran 5-2 Bosnia (2006) Bosnia 2-3 Iran (2009) Will be a good battle for the second spot among all the 3 teams.
  8. Who's man enough to take my bet that Nigeria won't get more than 2 points in that group ?
  9. Great draw. Really think Iran has a good chance of qualifying there.
  10. Put Cabaye back in my FF team after a bench spell vs. Swans. Almost certain he'll score a free kick. More misery to motes. 2-3 to the boys in black and white stripes !
  11. Hughton is a very nice guy...but god, his team is awful. I'd be asking for explanations if I was Norwich's chairman 22M expenditure this summer and I simply haven't seen any improvement. Even more shit defensively and still as inept going forward. They'll probably stay in the league because there are 3 shittier teams, but can't see Norwich progressing to even solid-midtable with him. His team is incredibly naive away from home. Hope RvW comes back and finds some form. Like both Norwich and Hughton, so hopefully it'll somehow work for all of parties involved.
  12. Suarez captain Toure and Kun in the team Marshall, Meresacker and Coleman clean sheet (Fuck off Glen Johnson for ruining another clean sheet) Glorious day
  13. Moyes Fuck me though, Everton look good.
  14. Any one had Ramsey as captain ? Pinned all my captain hopes on Aguero again..hope he's on fire tomorrow.
  15. Well, from next year, EL winners will get a spot in the next year's Champions League group stage, so that should add to the prestige and competitiveness of the competition. Also, EL is a great tool to boost coefficient rankings. That's how Porto and Benfica got to be top seeds for CL. and how Russia is on course to kick steal France' 3rd CL spot in a couple of years. Legia Warsaw though....0 points and 0 goals scored. I can't believe this is the same team that was so good in summer and one goal away from CL group stage. Same with that Shakhter Karagandy who were minutes away from eliminating Celtic.
  16. Mkhitaryan was unbelievable last night. One of the best individual performances of the season so far. The one that got away. and jesus PEA 's pace for his goal was unreal. Great game overall though the referee was a massive buzz-kill (as are most Spanish referees). France and Portugal's Coefficients are taking a beating this year. Porto and Benfica both all but eliminated, and Marseille doing their best Villareal impression. Watch them go and rack up the points in Europa League now.
  17. Reading now that the Police in Amsterdam saying he's alive. Please be true...will be the best thing on the night for sure. Come on !!
  18. Anyone read of rumours about Carroll's career being in jeopardy? Hope it's all bollocks
  19. It doesn't say you're playing Spurs, though, does it? Newcastle- WBA, Swans (a), Utd (a) and Utd is of course Manchester United Football Club managed by David Moyes (since Newcastle have been identified as Newcastle).
  20. Ridiculously tight as it stands: Here are the next 3 games of the top 9 which will be played in 6-7 days span. Arsenal - Cardiff (a), Hull, Everton Liverpool - Hull (a), Norwich, Westham, Chelsea - Southapton, Sunderland (a), Stoke (a) City - Swansea, WBA (a), Southapton (a) South - Chelsea (a), Villa, City United - Spurs (a), Everton, Newcastle Everton - Stoke, Utd (a), Arsenal (a) Newc - WBA, Swansea (a), Utd (a) Spurs - Utd, Fulham (a), Sunderland (a) I like the look of this. Should sort out the tightness a bit.
  21. I get that Suarez is an unlikeable character, but he's behaved himself very well this season IMO. I can't recall anything nasty. (most likely playing for a big move, that's why). Certainly doesn't warrant a career-ending accident. Really like Schmeichel there too. Adds insight and is pretty honest. Top guy as well.
  22. Nah, I can see City kicking on soon with their away form. Away at WBA and Southampton in their next 3 games. Could be very tricky for them, given their away form this year.
  23. Next 3 weeks will hopefully create more sizeable gap between the top 8. Right now it's too close, but a lot of head-to-head games coming up in the next 13 games. Wouldn't be surprised if Newcastle are above City on December 13th.
