  1. Yeah, you feel it says more about Palace than Sunderland. Just pulls Palace further into the mire. Also a possibility of it being a "just beaten Newcastle again" push for the mackems though. 4-0 at HT ffs

  3. Was just about to post that I seriously doubt Hull will go down. Silva has got them actually looking pretty good
  4. I love this. However, knowing Ashley, you just know it will get him itching to pull the trigger and get Pardew in. Joyous times ahead. As if he'll read it, or even know about it
  5. Speaking on his future De Jong told Voetbal International: “Newcastle aim to be promoted to the Premier League straight away and they are going well. “At the end of the season, McClaren was replaced by Rafael Benitez and I talked to him about my future prospects in summer. “My contract with Newcastle is due to expire in two-and-a-half years. “There is no clause in my loan deal of a longer stay. “The idea is to go back to Newcastle , make a fresh start and make many Premier League appearances.” “Last season was an odd one. “I was fit for 12 months and hoped to be given an opportunity to show my skills when the new manager arrived, but Steve McClaren had different ideas. “His game plan and our style of play was gradually increasingly influenced by the poor results. “I was fully involved in the pre-season matches. “But when the Premier League kicked off, he opted for a more solid and defensive tactical plan.” “McClaren regularly told me that I would always play in his ideal team. “But as the season progressed, it was all a matter of trying to survive and avoid the dreaded drop. “The club is looking for stability. “McClaren introduced the passing game at Newcastle after his arrival. “We kept the ball down and attempted to dominate the game. “The year before I joined Newcastle they were a sub-top-team at the end of the year, but they finished the season in 15th place. “Inconsistency has always troubled them ever since and last year’s relegation was an absolute low. “Just look at how Leicester City are doing after clinching the title only last year. “But I must admit being relegated was a big shock, even after I had only made three starts. “It was a weird experience. “Being in the relegation zone leads to a special atmosphere in the club that I had ever experienced before and I do hope I will never the same again.” http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/siem-de-jong-says-back-12550143 the fuck is wrong with the chronicles formatting
  6. Rafa's fine man. He won't leave and we'll buy players in the summer. Big fuss over nowt
  7. All Atsu's fault, that Ghana had everyone forward to get a last minute equaliser, Atsu's cross hits the first man (abysmal attempt), Cameroon break and score, 2-0 game over. Atsu coming home

Just looking at their fixtures.. Home games: Southampton, Man City, Burnley, Man Utd, West Ham, Bournemouth, Swansea Away games: Palace, Everton, Boro, Watford, Leicester, Arsenal, Hull, Chelsea Burnley are the only one at home I could see them winning cause of their shit away form), maybe some draws in the others Away games weirdly look more promising for them if anything ..then you see their away form http://i.imgur.com/QrpZf58.png
  9. Makes no difference when it's as quiet as a stadium with less than half of ours like last night
  10. is on foreign telly http://www.livesoccertv.com/match/1993038/newcastle-united-vs-derby-county/
  11. Sammy needs to start. Drop Ayoze for Diame, keep Murphy in. Cannot fucking stand Colback (who can?), but I'd actually consider playing him if he's fit
  12. There's a kick out (no matter how small). So probably

    Sammy Ameobi

motm, even with their players trying to snap his spine
  14. he kicked out. It's pretty clear. howay man I don't think its clear at all. He leaves his legs in but there's no kicking motion as far as I can see I'm not allowed to link it but it's on twitter. It's slight, but he extends his right leg in a 'kicking' motion. People defending him or trying to deny it would say it's fuck all (which it is) but knowing the FA it'll be enough for them
