How about 4-1-4-1
Tiote behind Cabella - Wijnaldum - Sissoko - Aarons. Cisse/Mitrovic/Ayoze up top. Not sure where it leaves de Jong, though I havent really seen a place for him in the side since he arrived
No doubt Colback will be in the team too
Can actually see Sissoko or Tiote getting it. I'm really hoping McClaren and the new coaches can get Tiote back to his best or near it. The way he turns into danger, holds the ball too long etc are all stuff that can pretty easily be coached out of him. Something the incompetent twats who went before never realised, unsurprisingly.
The production quality is GCSE multimedia level. Proper Microsoft word art all the way through
There's a video up now of an interview with Paul Simpson. The audio only comes out of the left speaker ffs
He speaks really well though. Million percent better than any of the 2 previous "assistant coaches" ever could. No licks for a start
Much rather we spent that £28m on Austin and a CB. Cough up the £15m QPR wanted, and there's £13m for a quality CB.
Instead we get another midfielder to add to the 12+ we already have and an unproven striker who seems like a right twat
You'd prefer to start the known quantities Colo, Willo, or Saylor?
I'd prefer to let the young, talented CB take his licks and gain PL experience.
No, I'd prefer a new CB alongside probably Colo. Like someone said in the other thread, one of Colo, Taylor or Williamson is going to be a starter, 100%. Colo is dodgy as it is, never mind with a young Prem debutant alongside him. Get someone like Matip who can come straight into the side in. Ideally get rid of Williamson and have Taylor and Lascelles as back up. Maybe next season Lascelles might be better, but to suggest chucking him in as a starter now (even more so after his last season) is a bit silly imo
