This is incorrect, Amortisation isnt a free lunch. Any player you buy still has to be paid for. Last I checked, if squad cost was implemented as proposed we would have already breached.

Sell and buy back makes no sense. Once you buy back you have to amortise the fee you pay, you no longer have the benefit of the academy sale.

That's a terrible deal. We don't need the immediate 30m we are in ok PSR shape we just can't get everything done this window imo. If he has the potential both us and the club believe he has, he will be worth a lot more than 30m so selling him for such a fee makes no sense. Back to the subject, I do agree a keeper who can play would be massive but if we work on the assumption we can't fill all of our holes this summer this is the one position id likely forego. A right winger and a centre half is paramount imo, not getting both of these would be a disaster imo. We also need another central midfielder, Relying on Willock and Miley seems like a massive gamble.
