Also, we had a big wobble last season, I think our squad is much stronger this year, I think we better last seasons points tally.
-
Actual good content
-
I think we can get by without him BUT we need a good fee for him and preferably a Centre half in after him imo.
-
Re Nico Williams, he turned down Emery and Villa already and seems very happy to follow in his brother inakis footsteps.
-
Not sure who’s on comms but it’s the classic big 6 love in.
-
They’ve played nobody yet. The disparity in the league these days is mad like. Glad we aren’t one of those bottom feeders anymore.
-
He’s a player we basically need our money back on, and even then it doesn’t free up much in terms of a budget to get someone else in. I can see why people would want to shift him, but I think unless we can make a profit on him we keep him for another year.
-
I’ve only seen dubious sources quote this mental wage. Also, given he’s only been here 1 year a transfer now might end up putting us in a worst position FFP wise.
-
Not an impactful one no. A loan with an obligation could help but that would be for the next financial period.
-
If that tweet is the kind of rubbish they are going to tweet they are better off winding it up.
-
Wouldn’t want to see either Ritchie or Dummy playing especially not at left back. loaning Targett doesn’t make any sense for us on the face of it.

https://theathletic.com/4802569/2023/08/25/liverpool-academy-investigation/ decent piece from the athletic, academies have moved on a lot, didn’t realise releasing players involved such processes.
-
We can’t afford to donate him to him, we would need a good fee so we could replace him.
-
They would need to give us decent money for this to happen and I can’t see that happening.
-
If they want mass market adoption which is questionable, then the best money they could spend would be getting someone like scudamore to help build the league. That being said, I don’t think they are courting the western markets at all.
-
Go on Dan, do you magic I’ve no ill will towards Fraser but it’s clearly better for all parties if we part ways. Wont moving to Southampton make Bournemouth fans hate him even more than they do now.
-
We certainly aren’t Man united at this point but In 15 years time we can be bigger. Also regarding Chelsea that was very much a distressed asset sale. Anyways who knows what the future holds let me get back on topic.
-
Let’s see, man united is going for 6b.
-
They are but it’s for totally different reasons such as most nations not wanting to play Israel in that region for obvious reasons.
-
They will make money on us eventually, in terms of the Saudi league absolutely they will lose boatloads, fortunately for them it doesn’t matter. let’s just hope these players are smart enough to get the salary paid in USD to an account offshore.
-
Even if they could compete in Europe they would have to abide by FFP. these clubs are zero revenue.
-
Classic kaka MENA may gave a shit now where else will. It’s a retirement home/ money grab.
-
I don’t see this happening at all. I can see why they would want to sell given his age and salary but surely they wouldn’t actually do it.
-
This transfer will be off his books at the end of the season.

No perfect solution is exactly right, we just have to expand or rebuild and even then we might not be able to satisfy everyone. I think @SteVhas been bang on all the way through with his posts on this subject
