I do agree with your point regarding TAA, we should have focused all of our attacks solely on his side and it is was a mistake not to do so.

It’s extra frustrating because I think a lot of us saw the mugging coming and us being complacent really cost us this one. Make no mistake we were complacent and sloppy but no world did Liverpool deserve to win that match. Im sure Eddie is furious both with himself and the team, his standards are much higher than what we displayed and I’m certain we will come back stronger as a result of this, just fingers crossed for Sven because he’s absolutely crucial for us.

To try and put a different slant on this, the mighty Liverpool FC have come to our place, won in a very much smash and grab manner and celebrated as if they won the league. We are a team which is genuinely concerning the big 6 and that is a positive im going to take.

For my money, after the goal and sending off we were poor, our foot was off the gas no intensity to our play and didn’t do what I’d expect. we thought we had the game won and it’s come back to bite us on the arse.

Really worrying if Sven is out for any period of time.

The disturbing thing is we were poor in the first half, I really expected Howe to rip into them at half time but the fact we came out and served that up is alarming. I still very much doubt he sent them out and fold them to play that way, it’s contrary to everything we know about him and his methods.

Because we’ve got the slowest backline in the league by a mile and haven’t addressed it. Nunez thrives on space in behind. When he doesn’t have that he’s bang average.

Really highlighted tonight why I was desperate we got in someone with pace in defence and an upgrade on Miggy.

Given our play style is based entirely around high energy I can not imagine he sent them out there and asked them to serve that up.

We wasted so many chances as well. Miggy especially. And good lord Harvey Barnes just had to roll it for a tap in.

The way we’ve approached this second half has been so poor, the lads clearly thought they had this won and we’ve been punished badly. Eddie will be absolutely fuming.

Personally, I’m buzzing. Yeah we haven’t been great in possession but the intensity and the spirit is another level to what Liverpool can offer.

It should be a close game between too evenly matched sides. I fancy us as I believe we are better organised than them and have home advantage.
