Aye, he's my first choice personally although I'd like to see Lejeune Jamal and Fernandez play together. Schar is great on the ball but he's rash and has a few mistakes in him.
-
Picture shows its a clear foul honestly.

Cheated by a referee again. You can argue weather it's a foul or not but the whistle should have been blown when Ritchie cleared it.

Rodgers isn't fit to lace Rafa's boots but then again Wagner isn't either.

They do, Rafa is a critical thinker. It will take more than breaking even on transfers for a season to convince him. I really hope he gets cast iron guarantees to implement his program for the club before he signs. Selfishly speaking another season of the pre Almiron feeling isn't worth bothering with but I fear Ashley wants to do the absolutely bare minimum to keep him and the fans on side.

Spurs are way further ahead than us, one of the best sides in the league we've done well and been beaten by a bit of misfortune no shame on the lads.
-
Mistakes happen no point dwelling on it, on to the next game.

Loki is correct this wouldn't be applied at government level and if the fa tried it we would be saying hello to a European super League.

Hopefully it means a takeover is on the cards or at the very least Rafa has secured some more concrete guarantees from jabba.
-
Mike used his own contacts to get it done
-
Probably but I reckon like Lazaar and Manquillo he's been brought in to provide cover.

Wonder what the odds were before Rafa's ultimatum.

I'm dreading seeing Diame back in tbh He's our most important midfielder tbf.

Dividends can only be paid if there are profits available for distribution in the balance sheet ("distributable reserves"). As at 30 June 2017 the club had accumulated losses of £85 million in its balance sheet and was technically insolvent. So I think "if" Ashley has taken any money out it would be to reduce the loan. The other point is that he can reduce his loan without any tax implications whereas dividends, bonuses and salary payments are all taxable. Thanks! Insane how we can accumulate such a loss when we spend fuck all.

this sort of naievity really needs looking at. he is taking money out without reducing the debt. No need to be so cunty, I was only trying to grasp at possible positives in a sea s***. I am far from naive. Even if he has paid himself back it's not really helping matters. I think most of us assumed his 300mil asking price was inclusive of the debt but if he has paid himself a chunk of debt back and is still asking 300Mil then that would be another matter entirely. Isn't the common consensus that he values the club at around £200m + the loan (& original debt incurred whilst paying off the club loan for developing the ground (70m?). So in reality, he` Apologies if that's the case, I always thought it was 300 all in.

Nothing stopping him taking money out of the club by paying himself dividends and leaving his loan in tact either btw.
-
In to paying his own loans back? Either way we will know when the accounts are filled.

I'm not sure, if Rafa can get cast iron guarantees from Ashley and some backing I would give them a basis for negotiations. To me, this seems to be the first step. If Ashley actually bothers to run with the club with a modicum of sense they may be able to coexist. I imagine any assurances would have to be cast iron mind, doubt Rafa would be willing to take Ashley at face value.
-
Hmmm what's Ashley's motivation for this one? (Should it go through)? Ploy to keep Rafa? Thinks he can be flipped for profit? Assuming this lad will be the highest paid player at the club as well.
-
Should f*** the baldy waste of space off given any bidders Can't see that happening, if we get samaris in it may allow Hayden to be loaned out though.
-
Well he was good for us and is way better than Joselu so obviously aye, And he’s an academy product All of the factors aren't really relevant given he can't stay fit and hasn't been able to maintain a level of fitness over how many seasons now? Would be stupid especially given it would have to be a permanent deal.

This leaves Jonjo in a bit of jam given both Ki and Diame playing better than him this season not to mention the emergence of this kid.

Carroll People would actually want him back ?
