Reading at home. Last season. Should have killed Pardew with fire after that game That's the point where he should have gone, since he's survived two 0-3's to Sunlun, 0-6 to the bin dippers, numerous hammerings, headbutting a oppo player, slagged off the area, basically said players who aren't middle class are thick (again insulting the area). And still he manages us, totally bizarre. Couldn't agree more. I remember being at that match and being the most furious I'd ever been at a manager. Remember thinking to myself that that was the first time I could distinctly remember a manager losing a game themselves with shear idiocy and ineptitude. We ended up with a midfield of Bigi, Jonas, Perch and Obertan in that game...Perch, Bigi and Obertan replaced Anita, Cabaye and Marveaux. It was Cabaye's first game back after injury so you can understand him coming off and he took Marveaux off first THEN Cabaye 10 mins later when it was 1 - 1 so we had zero creativity. Just f***ing bizarre. No creativity... Fuck all has changed there then.

Really hoping we all feel invigorated the day Ashley or Pardew leaves I can't fucking wait for the day we get our self respect back
-
Imagine going from Pardew to that Fans would probly complain that he's too attacking and we don't keep it tight at the back anymore

With the white flag raised at 2:07pm the only surprise was that it wasn't easier for Stoke. Yup excellent assessment

A man with a philosophy a vision of how he wants his side to play judging from that article. Sign him up

Martinez is a better manager, without question. If he was available I'd sack off Pardew and have him in a second. But I don't think Pardew is completely f***ing useless. He's probably not worthy of any more time. He hasn't been good enough in what I consider key areas of management; motivating players and getting confidence players, like Cisse, playing consistently well. He's on borrowed time. He's a mixed bag and nowhere near Martinez in terms of quality. But that wasn't the point I was making. We don't have Martinez nor do we have any real chance of attracting Martinez. We know Pardew's failings but the club's recruiting failings are just bigger in my opinion. We need a manager who can work around those. At the start it looked like Pardew could. It's becoming increasingly obvious that he can't. What are his strengths?

Our squad was still thin last season. Cisse had stopped scoring (and Pardew should have fixed that). But we still didn't have a period like we have over the last few months where we were getting routinely tonked. Our form before selling Cabaye - while up and down - was still much better on the whole. There's a very obvious contrast. You completely disregard from the fact that our squad was in terms of quality still easily a top 8 side last year. I'm not disregarding that at all. We had some good players and should have done better in the league than we did. As a whole, we under-performed last season. The season before we performed well above expectation. I said at the end of last season that he'd had one good and one bad and he'd earned the benefit of the doubt for this season. Now this season is basically over, our league position is borderline acceptable but our performances are garbage. Patchy in 2013 and disgraceful in 2014. Had everything else been equal then Pardew should be walking. However, all else is not equal. We've sold without buying. Our squad is still way too thin on bodies and quality. Pardew deserves criticism but I don't feel like he deserves all, or even most, of the blame. The way I see it, there are 3 ways this goes: 1) We're already looking for a replacement, we get them in soon and re-build in the summer around them. 2) We decide Pardew is worthy of a little more time. We recruit in the summer and he's got the first 5-10 games to show he still deserves to be in the job. 3) We don't recruit in the summer and the manager is irrelevant. We're f***ed whoever is in charge. Personally, I'd be going for option 1. I think option 2 is what will happen but I wouldn't be surprised by any of them. Management irrelevant lol.

It was against Chelsea after Luiz wasn't sent off, Taylor and someone else (Colo) got injured, Pardew said it was because they'd been trying too hard and wouldn't have been trying that hard against ten men. Oh s***. It's all coming flooding back Oh shit, I bet some people actually swallowed that as well -

Sorry if this has been posted already: -
I could understand Ian's position on this if say The guv and Elliot were friends, or the Guv gained the information by telling Rob Elliot it wouldn't be repeated but that doesn't appear to be the case.

I can't imagine any scenario where Carr wouldn't think that Pardew is an utter bell end. Can you imagine Pardew telling Carr who he wants, and Carr going righto........ when Pardew leaves the room. That's unfair on Alan Bimps. Things would have been totally different had we got Tomkins in. Imagine if we would have passed up on Remy and bought Bent instead, We'd be top of the premier leagues third mini league!

I just made one fairly innocuous point, and everyone went mental as usual. Yep, and you are sitting there as smug as f*** now no doubt. Job done I'm actually really frustrated about not being able to contribute anymore. People have made it almost impossible to make any alternative points. I've never said anything to get a reaction. At this stage having an opposing view on Pardew makes little sense sadly. From his mind boggling excuses to his decisions to play 3-5-2 cos we half a lot of centre backs the man is a fraud plain and simple.

Of course we "want" champions league, who doesn't? Do we expect it? No and I haven't heard any NUFC fan on here claiming we do. I'm happy with 11 players played in their correct position not looking like a team of unmotivated strangers for a start Exactly, but Pardew's has some players eating out of his hand, you give players reason to blame someone else they will and Pardew is doing that by blaming other players. The others who see him for the coward he is, look like they'll be turfed out (Marv, Mbwia, Hatem, seems like Colo now as well). Ridiculous stuff. Fully expect us to sell all of our best players and replace them with cloggers to be honest. Irony is we'll still be totally unbalanced as we specialise in doing half a job
-
s***!!!!! I forgot to add we argued over this. He was actually saying we can't compete with Southampton I used 50k as an example which he said meant nowt. They earn more money than us etc etc. Aye and who's fault is it that we have no intent on the pitch....? The Real Madrid players earn more than the Athletico Players doesn't stop them having a fantastic season does it?
-
Of course. Aye Ian, it's ok to slag off keegan and the fans You don't think it's slightly unfair on Elliot?

Time to remove yourself Mr Elliot and head back to league 1 where you belong
-
Best play him then. Pard's thinks that he just needs a goal and he will start knocking them in for fun
-
Darn sarf apparently. he will be back 2moro for training. Think he goes back after Saturday games, back on Monday then goes back on Tuesday nights as Wednesday is always a day off for team when we don't have midweek games, then back on Thursday morning for training. Day off lol. I wonder who benefits from that the lazy cunt

Have to keep the pressure on. When the away fans (although a bit divisive at the moment) start chanting for him to go it is only a matter of time. Then, knowing our luck it will probably become a Steve Kean situation with him clinging on desperately and being targeted from all sides. However he has walked from other jobs so I think there is a decent chance he will leave at the end of the season. Party starts when pard's Is sacked

It's looking grim for Pards

Kaka was never about the goals or assist the same way Messi and CRonaldo are though. He was about so much other stuff in terms of what he offered. Instrumental in that side that reached the CL finals twice. You can't discount them either. As I said to call describe him as not half the player he was is absurd. Any chance of him going to the world cup? Nah, that boat has sailed I'm afraid. Bigger chance of Robinho going since he's an idol to many of the young guys in the squad. Robinho is such a waste of talent sadly. Waste of a squad place If you take him imo
