Taking a que from us, after all our captain was the man who guided us to relegation. ¿Que? r0cafella just making stuff up again. Nowt new. Please cite what I've made up in the past as well please. Aye, left Ameobi with a tap in. That pass was so mis-hit too btw. Was Imo. But fair enough.

    Steve McClaren

To be fair to him, we are getting exactly what we pay for. It's pretty sad we struggle to compete with the likes of Swansea though.

Support the team not the regime
  7. I'd go for that, but bring cisse on later. Think we need someone to hold up the ball when we do get it back. Ball retention is key. Yup, me too. I expect the same side that started against Southampton though.

Nice little tonic for those saying McClaren was worse than Pardew (at the time of his appointment). Did anyone on here say that? Cronky doesn't count. I know I responded to a fair few comments along the lines of 'It's another Pardew', 'another English dinosaur'. Anyway, hopefully this better style of play is what we see every week. How are those the same thing? What I, and a few others, said was that Steve McClaren was an unambitious appointment with a very patchy record. Not the significant upgrade the club should have gone for, and I stand by that. You don't think he's a significant upgrade on Pardew? He is but Pardew shouldn't have ever been anywhere near the club.

  10. Yup streets ahead of Obertan. Can't believe i'm going to say this, but on the left he isn't He's as good as Obertan is on the left side and far better on the right.
  11. What's the rest of his game like? We are playing out from the back so I'm assuming he's better at that than Williamson
  12. How good is dunk is he actually good enough to play in the premier league for a mid table team?
  13. Nor should we for dross like Townsend.
  14. Getting boring now... Just my opinion based on past experience.
  15. Think we are closed for business personally. With the exception of outgoing of course

  18. He offers the square root of f*** all going forward though. I don't think he was terrible yesterday by any means, he was just his usual bog standard 6/10 self. He does currently but wonder if it's a confidence thing. He's not shit on the ball, just not an exciting player pushing forward. He has goals in him which we have seen but never gets in those positions often enough He has 3-5 goals in him a season which is about par for the course for a box to box midfielder. I don't think it's a confidence thing either, he just isn't cut out to have a crisp expansive passing game. He doesn't excel in any area and offers a bit of graft and and some simple passes nothing more.

  20. That'd be ace to know if we were a running club and not a football club.
