People are frustrated because shola is sloppy when he had the ball. Off the ball he's done well for me, he's even put in a shift. We need to remember like Williamson Shola is a very limited football but he's done well today for me

What a fantastic half for us that has been. Fairy play to Pardew he's got the balance spot on so far. Its especially good to see us playing as a team and defending cohesively.

Spurs paid 20 mill for soldado and could have had Remy for 8.. The mind boggles

That's definitely his trademark these days - if this doesn't work again he won't just tweak it for the next game, it'll be the whole blueprint in the bin and start again. It probably won't even be the next game, if Spurs score it'll be a complete formation change and nobody will know what the f*** they're doing. Plan depends 100% on exactly the same as last week happening - Spurs need to be absolute s*** for an hour. If it does work of course, we'll go with it against Norwich as well. Which is why he's such a piss poor manager. No footballing philosophy which to me is criminal.

I moaned at this against City and they put in a canny performance, i had half a moan at the line up before Chelsea and they won. Can see why he's done it, options are limited, Cisse out of form, Ben Arfa struggled up top, Shola has give us something to aim at. Agree with the person a couple of posts up about the 4-4-2, Norwich played it and hardly seen the ball, hope we can do better than that. Feel sorry for Anita like, he should be starting. Dont' think Ben Arfa/Cisse/Colo can have too many complaints as they have either not took their chance or others deserve to be playing ahead of them. We played for a draw against city and got beat in extra time, doesn't strike me as good gameplan. Shola serves no purpose apart from defending corners, To be fair I would have left out Colo for this and Mike and Mbiwa have looked decent. In regards to Cisse the man isn't good enough for me but Anita should be starting, when he came on last weekend we looked a lot more fluid and attacked with purpose.

We won't sign anyone unless we are fighting relegation IMO. He's full of shit though, so we are going to focus on players who aren't good enough instead of trying to get the best talent we possibly can. Typical Pardew trying to pander to the public but he just gets it all wrong, we want to see the best players we can possibly attract play to there highest possible level.

I ve watched PSG a number of times this season and I really don't see anything which leads me to believe rabiot is top class. Verratti on the other hand...

Uefa have to give a huge amount of money to the clubs for participating because they fear a breakaway European super league. If there ever was a European super league then both UEFA and FIFA would throw their weight around and demand take charge of it's running. They did the same with the Fairs Cup when it's popularity was growing. Depends times have changed since the days of the fairs cup. With a true European super league why would the clubs even need a UEFA/FIFA. In the modern game money is the dominating factor, not major honours or international caps.

Just got home from the pub I live in Leeds for those that don't know and there was this Geordie lass behind the bar, wasn't bad looking and a Newcastle fan to boot.. She mentioned we beat Chelsea yesterday to which I smiled and replied Pardew is still shit. She replied with he's great and has a gorgeous smile. Brett you don't happen to be a female living in Leeds do you?

Martinez said some stuff about just resting him and giving an opportunity to Osman because the game will suit him. Cheers Ian appreciate it
-
Why isn't Barkley playing for the scouse?
-
Ian I agree. I think we need to encourage competition within the side so if your playing well you stay in the side. If we drop Williamson for Colo it sends the complete wrong message imo
-
Its a easy choice IMO. Anita is a light years ahead of Cheick when it comes to actually playing football
-
Well not me, It's not on till later
-
As Ronaldo has often said he seems to need a leader beside him to just orchestrate
-
Nice touch celebrating with the disabled kid. We have to keep hold of him
-
Class act. Superb on the ball and is always looking to move into space to receive the ball. Also credit to his professionalism, despite being unfairly dropped he still comes back into the team and looks to fight for his place back I'm in awe of you Vurn!
-
I Dislike the man but you have to give him credit for the second half performance. We've become so used to coming out in the second half and being shit but today we stepped up credit to Pardew for that. **The above is said through gritted teeth**
-
Take a bow sir you were fantastic today
-
As bad as Chelsea were in the second half I still thought we did well. We increased our tempo and moved the ball well. Fair play to Pardew today, Anita coming on really did make a difference though
