    Players in public

    Not too dissimilar from Berens

    Papiss Cissé

Incorrect. He didn't actually clear the debt he in effect bought the debt and paid the bank what was owed. It was basically a transfer of the debt from the bank to himself.
  3. The mandate is also developing young talent, how has he fared at that?

Might as well give up and pack it in. Nothing really matters. Well, exactly. Is that what gives you joy about NUFC, making money on players? Cisse is our top scorer by the way, with nearly twice as many goals as anyone else. And he's not in double figures. What gives me joy is the more money we make the closer Ashley is to leaving. Not sure what incentive Ashley has to sell if we are making boatloads of money Clear his debts and the club becomes a very attractive purchase to someone. Right now Ashley would want £300m plus the loan money and no one is going to pay that. If he had his loan paid back and offers start coming in, with the situation at Rangers he'd be out like a shot. He's already hinting at selling the club next year, probably when he thinks we'll have paid him back. He's never had a decent offer for us, therefore never been tempted to sell, and since its popular opinion he'd sell his mam to make a fiver, then any respectable bid for the club surely will be accepted. Why would he sell though? He's not short of money and although he's reduced his stake in SD he still remains in control. From what I've read Ashley is much more a buyer than a seller (of businesses) He'll sell once the right bid comes in. Especially since Rangers is prime for the taking. He's in the wrong game with us, that money can be better spent else where in a venture more suited to his style. Rangers is a waste of time, he can make far more money with us than he can with Rangers. I think Rangers for him was pure opportunism tbh.

  6. Schuster would be underwhelming given the names we've been linked with.

He wanted to give him a new contract with us in the summer
  11. Man utds central midfield is such a joke.
  12. Praising Januzaj for absolutely nothing
  13. Couldn't agree more. It's so difficult to avoid being a cynic in this situation and think the delay is so they can say they tried but failed to get the right man and will wait until the summer.
  14. Nah, he said that he hoped to have a better idea of what they're going to do by the end of the week. More fool me for thinking he said something of some relevance. Cheers for setting me straight Dave.
  15. Wasn't Charley quoted as saying we'll know more by the end of the week? This period seems like such a waste.
  16. Calm down lads, it's not a jolly
  17. We have a hat a bunch of shit names and a blind fold
  18. Nah! Lennon isn't a kick and chase guy man. That's Theo. Theo struggles to keep control dribbling at pace. He usually is best when he knocks it forward and then gets there quicker than the defender. Lennon dribbles with the ball at pace really well, as does Sterling. Absolute nonsense, for starters Walcott's best attribute is his off the ball movement to get into finishing positions he hardly dribbles at all. Lennon can only dribble in straight lines and definitely is nowhere near Walcott general game and he cannot take a man on in closed space. Not many orthodox wingers can't dribble in small spaces when being double marked. Also Walcott is an inside forward playing in a side which suites his style of play. Lemon is a orthodox right winger playing in a system which hasn't suited him since redknapp has left and even then it's debatable
  19. Very good player just lost his way and had the ability coached out of him. He was making adults look like fools before he was a teen. what, like, 12? Yup. Decent players too. Ah, right! Thought that was a typo Did you know people that played against him as a youngster then? Yes, he grew up a stones throw from me. We used to play in the local park together (when Leeds would let him) Nice, is it a case of too much too young? That said, it's not as if he's tumbled down the leagues. Possibly, but his family kept him grounded. Don't get me wrong he was driving around let's in an m3 at 18 but he's cool, stayed friends with all the people he grew up with and what not. I don't know what it is, but he was much more than just a hug the line winter in his youth, could dribble centrally and was a good finisher as well. Cool, interesting to hear that. Do you think my comparison to Sterling was that way off? I see similarities at times. I could certainly imagine him playing centrally too. He's certainly a better shooter than he is a crosser that's for sure. Feel like he just got pushed out there due to his pace, and was told to hug the line by coaches, and it's taken away from his game. Yes and no Kaka, what we've seen from Lennon is more akin to an orthodox right winger where as Sterling has always been given more creative freedom than that. I think Lennon had the ability to do what Sterling does now but that day seems to have gone. He's played a couple of times centrally for Spurs and has looked quite ineffective to be honest but that could be more down to Spurs' style of play than anything else.
