You see Macguire going for £17 million, would have liked him here I suppose but is he much better than what we've got? Is he much better than Clarke or Mbemba for example? He had a decent season aye but it seems like it's fashionable to get worked up about players like this when we really don't know what he would be like. I'm confident that our manger is working hard behind the scenes and deals are being struck, it is early days and I reckon we will get the players we need.
They start off by claiming they don't know him and haven't heard of him and then he becomes s*** and the biggest waste of money ever. He's a winger who has a record with us of a goal every 3 starts in the league, that'll do for me and is almost certainly as good as any player they'll have next season.
Honeyman for me marra
The club clearly wanted him to stay
Short has got absolutely no appetite for this man, he'll be desperate to be out and the last thing he'll want is to appoint another manager. All they've banged on about is stability and there is massive upheaval yet again. They could get lucky and appoint someone to galvanise the club, more chance their next appointment will be an absolute disaster
This could mean things get worse, Short is obviously Randy Lerner MK II, he's got absolutely no stomach or willingness to bring them back and probably won't back them financially anymore. There is f*** all to spend and will have to let their best players go for way under market value.
I've changed my mind on him like, I'd sign him. At £6m it's a low risk, he looks like a player on an upward curve who can continue to improve. He's quick and direct, aye PL defences are a lot better but he would still be useful if used correctly.

Interesting line about a sports direct exec working with Charnley now
