Not sure of the reliability of that article but the way I read it they will only a sanction a deal to a team outside of England. Pointless talking about it really we can't and won't pay for him.
-
I honestly think they wouldn't, their spending over the last few years, their managerial appointments and their upwardly ambition all suggest otherwise. Eh? Brighton have been very well run and have built a side primed to go up but they've hardly spent anything. Huddersfield before last season were languishing near the bottom of the Championship. They'd snap you arms and legs off for 17th on GD
-
They are so monumentally thick and ill informed. They still we are living in 95-96

Loaning a player, Man City style
-
Could end up similar to QPR, permantently marooned 10th-18th in the Champo and with no real hope of getting out of it. I think they'll have an average season and maybe threaten the play offs at some point before falling away to 8th-10th, think Grayson will be ok for them
-
Pleased with this, at 6"3 gives us a bit of presence in there
-
Remy's goals carried us in his loan spell 13/14, he had a lot of quality. We were desperate for him to come back the following season but he was always going to Chelsea. Seems his career since is typical of footballers with his character, he lacks the hunger for it. On his day though he was a really good striker. Turkey or China awaits

Rafa taking about the atmosphere is really interesting. I'd like think it's not out of the realms of possibility the atmosphere next season at home games could be it's best for donkeys years. SJP is far better when we are classed as the underdogs, when the cards are stacked against us. The atmosphere definitely suffered last season when we were expected to roll teams over, previous PL years it was s*** because we were a zombie club. Top of the football book of cliches but when that place is rocking it must help the players massively, absolutely class when SJP is a bear pit of noise

100 % political, like f*** he would go there, he'd leave us in a shot over failings but not to China
-
McCarthy would be a great signing. We really need some PL know how in our side, we are slowly building an exciting pacy young squad but someone like him in CM and another good striker would be awesome
-
Even if he ends up a 30-40 % of Alonsos quality
-
Rafa He just lives and breathes the game and is desperate for success at our club. Always demanding improvement and wants NUFC back in the upper echelons of English game
-
Correct
-
Frustrating as f*** like. Thing is we are probably only a really good Striker and CM away from comfortably saying up imo. Someone like Batshuayi isn't joining obviously but if we were willing to pay a £6-£8 million loan fee for someone like him we would guarantee PL survival and then be guaranteed a further £100 million or whatever it is.
-
This is what it says on the Chronicle site... What did we do in the loan negotiations to p*ss them off so bad? Charnley proposed that Liverpool paid us for the deal
-
Will join Man City for £60 million in 2020

Really good goal by Victor Fernandez
-
Dropped for a lack of Britshisness
-
Cheers Daryl, great pro and will always be remembered fondly at the club. Really pleased he isn't going to the mackems, he's a reliable goalscorer in the champ
-
Gibson and Daryl's fee almost pays for Jacob Murphy
-
It is a really good fee, but a depressing scenario
-
What a win win transfer that was
