  1. That actually looks nowt like Bill Murray. Looks like Brian Clough.
  2. Re Ferdinand: worked with Pardew at Wham, ex-mackem; we'll probably sign him.
  3. Nah man, that's just depressing. Thai football?! Give up the game brother. Your time is up. @anton_ferdinand: For the record I haven't signed for anybody, still have a lot of options to explore. Watch this space.
  4. Possibly. They have a decent little team, could be a good watch. They're boring to watch though. Think they could do well as Hitzfeld has them playing organized football, but from the few games I've seen them they're not entertaining. Hope they are on June 20th at Arena Fonte Nova though. They're not setting the world alight but they have some good players; Shaqiri, Inler, Barnetta. Mehmedi has had a pretty good season at Freiburg as well.

  6. Haven't clicked the the link but if the article doesn't contain the phrase 'tactically dangerous lunatic' I'm not interested. The word you're looking for is "Bielsaista" and yes, it's there.
  7. Bosnia are fun and score lots of goals. Looking forward to seeing them. Aye, their goal difference was +24 in the qualifiers. Shit group but still; they scored 30 goals in 10 games.
  8. http://partyontshirts.com/products/1687325.png Such a fantastic name. Howay Bosnia!
  9. Cheers, like that. Italy pretty much wore the same kit between 1950 and 1990.
  10. Can be a supersub for them.
  11. Messi Even the describing text is explaining how shite he's been at the WC.
  12. It's not fair comparing Sweden, Norway and Belgium with Brazil though. The sheer numbers of youngsters playing football for one thing - small countries can't afford losing talents but have to make sure as many talents as possible make it all the way.
  13. When did you live there? It's fairly common knowledge that they changed their youth development policies quite drastically (not just when it comes to separating players but many other aspects, like what the training sessions should focus on), think it was in the early 2000's or late 90's. Most Belgian clubs follow these guidelines.
  14. Agreed. x100 We're too scared of it, it's pure scandinavian mentality, no one should be better than anyone. It's just ridiculous. This, however, I don't agree with. Just have to look at the Belgians and their success story of the last decade. They decided to really change their approach to youth development; they don't seperate players until 14 years of age. And when they do split up the group of players they consider the players' physical development, not their overall quality. This way they minimise the risk of losing good players who develop later.
  15. I can't for the life of me understand why they feel the need to release that statement, but then I don't really care. That earlier pic with Pardew holding the sign is quite remarkable as it shows a football manager taunting the fans of the club he's managing. He should apologise, and that should be the statement of today. But the club/board don't give a fuck, of course. There's a yawning chasm between the club and the fans.
  16. Its debatable like, if we hadn't collapsed we would have finished ahead of them They play brilliant football though. Impressive amount of young local players coming through. Mainly down to their academy obviously but Pochettino is clearly giving the young players the opportunity to prosper.
