  1. Nothing like a good bit of homophobia to start the day. Can't imagine the club shop printed that.
  2. The thing is with Dummett I wouldn't mind him being in the squad if he wasn't technically great but had good positional sense. Judging by his performances in the PL, he has neither. He's technically a few levels below what's needed in the PL, his touch is absolutely shocking. But his footballing brain is the nail in the coffin for me, he doesn't seem to be able to handle possession under pressure without playing a classic British floater up the line. I feel sorry for him 'cos it's clear he's worked hard on his game but he's just not cut out for this level and will continue to be a liability if we play him.
  3. 'Hi Mike, I just tried to sign that f***ing Blackietimbi Gomis but the b****** is probably eating chicken somewhere...bloody Jamaican dreaded c***' Kind of stupid logic is this? There's plenty racism in our own football and we need to be better. Bit of verbal diarrhoea. I've experienced racism (not just to myself) at English football grounds so it does 'deserve a mention', what a strange and arrogant thing to say. It might not be as prevalent as other leagues but I didn't realise we're competing in some sort of bigotry league against Russia, Turkey, Ukraine etc. We can't compete with sovereign states like Russia, Turkey and Ukraine tbf.

  5. I like the way Lee didn't even mention the club who put the bid in as well
  6. Hopefully they're confident after beating Stoke so they'll win 2-0 and Pardew's target of having points on the board before Palace (I know, dat ambition ) will have failed. I hate the man, it's impossible to support the club with him in charge. What's more shocking is that those of us with this opinion are seemingly in the minority amongst our fans; reading the comments on places like the NUFC facebook page, Chronicle/Journal etc and national newspaper sites has made me realise this.
  7. I don't want to come across as a pompous Southerner but from what I've seen I have to say the standard of journos in the North East is absolutely shocking, the pick of the bunch being Ryder. 'I don't understand, his writing style, why he feels the need, to seperate the most elementary of sentences, into bitesize chunks more applicable to 3 year olds, in addition to huge chasm-like gaps between lines, Random end sentence.'
  8. Why? Explain? Colo's not looked like a good defender for at least 2 years now. He's awful in the air now, he still can't handle a simple ball over the top (it's actually embarrassing watching him struggle with this), he's all over the shop positionally and seems to have lost a yard of pace, when he didn't even have pace to begin with. He actively tried to leave the club yet has still retained the armband, and as others have said he rarely communicates with the rest of the back four....that job is left to Willo who's got one of the softest voices I've ever heard I'd keep him as backup, but I don't want to see him as our first-choice CB anymore, especially as one with the captaincy.
  9. That's the worst thing- nearly 4 years and no style of play, apart from being scared of our opposition. The cunt has nearly driven me to hating football...the World Cup saved it just about. Worst thing is that he'll most likely last the season after dragging us to 12th and proclaiming 'we done good, players had to gel' etc etc
  10. I don't think the guy has the ability to speak with any conviction, everything's in stupid riddles and tiresome phrases. It's ridiculous how he convinces most of the footballing fraternity that he's a good manager with said cliches. It's infuriating
  11. Argh Pardew man for fuck sake why is he such an insufferable cunt
  12. Damn it I am unmask ! Well now that my agent's stategy has been revaeled and failed ( he told me to stay positive when I'm playing with the reserve, to take pictures with fans with my new slim body ( all muscle I swear), to use hidden propagande on this forum ect.) so now I can go with my good old one strategy : Put my wonderful left foot in pardew ass and see what happen! We keep in touch. Best regards. Legendary post.
  13. The idea that Pulis plays 'horrible football' or 'constant long ball' is a bit of a lazy & ill-informed summary imo. I went to Selhurst a lot last season with my Palace-supporting mate and I have to admit it wasn't the aerial wankfest you would come to expect for a Pulis side; yes they whacked it forward from time to time but a lot of the time they tried to play between the lines, take care of possession until the final third, use their wingers to create some width and get runners in and around Chamakh, Jerome & even Wilbraham when he played. Some of their interchanging and movement (especially when Puncheon, Ince & Gayle played with Jedinak as the anchor) was on a different stratosphere to anything we've done in the last couple of years. Palace didn't see a lot of the ball when the big boys came to town but unlike Pardew & his teams, they weren't afraid to be bold when they had the ball by either breaking quickly (and more importantly on the deck) or being patient and moving the ball. I thought tactically Pulis was great last season, had a good mix of passing and sending early balls into the big strikers. To be honest it was a pleasure to watch and Selhurst has a fantastic atmosphere. Pulis would genuinely be an upgrade, but like others I'd love to have a more continental, expansive manager in. Plus if Pulis walked 'cause Parish wouldn't buy Gylfi Sigurdsson...I wonder how he'd react to working with Ashley
  14. That's one season you're talking about. Or do you think 12th, 16th, 10th is "pretty high up in the league"? Well, 10th is pretty decent considering the shambles that was the end of last season. We are doing fine untill Cabaye being sold. Just totally beyond Pardew's control. Post-Cabaye our results /performances turned to this: http://imgur.com/7vMF5Q5.jpg After selling ONE PLAYER. Not even remotely acceptable. tbf, we were energyless during that spell. Erm actually I think you'll find we was energyless during that spell.
  15. I reckon the Heed move the ball around better than us Completely agree with what you're saying though.

    Remy Cabella

Perhaps, but it would be significantly better than what we have now if Pardew could just fucking get over himself.

    Remy Cabella

Seriously Even Krul is smiling f***ing hell man - just imagine if HBA and Cabella were given pure freedom on the wings to do whatever it took to get the ball in the net. Sunday would be exciting, the place would be roaring EVERY single time they got on the ball. Please don't remind us Kanji. Cabella & Benny is pure Imagine going a bit further than that...having Cabella & Benny either side of Riviere in a 4-3-3, with Anita, Sissoko & De Jong in behind. Then imagine the great attacking & engine room depth we'd have in the rest of the squad with the likes of Gouffran, Marveaux, Aarons, Ayoze, Armstrong, Chucky, Wonga Hater, Tiote, wor Ginge, Abeid....hell even Sameobi & Obertan. We could have had an amazing squad, but our manager is a....(answers on a postcard)
  18. That vine fucking kills me man The guy can't even speak English, it's tragic.
  19. I second this. The King surely? Ronaldo doesn't like the phrase though so let's not consider it, don't wanna upset him. Erm? What ?
