  1. Jesus don't put a big flag over the east stand, they might think it's a big blanket and go to sleep!

They deserve it tbh. The bloke is walking around with the worst CV in the industry almost and they're still hiring him. Must be sucking dicks like they're sausage rolls in his interviews.

Lulapalooza. Bloke is a fucking joke, his son is a joke long in the making. His backroom staff of strictly Steve's are a fucking joke. Just retire you pillock.

Oh aye. The feel good factor of a win dribbles out into the little side streets of Newcastle and into the bars and clubs. This just doesn't happen elsewhere with such ease. You can go out after the match just to discuss the game and end up in the casino at 3am. Just as and example, at Brighton you had to get a train out from the town to the middle of nowhere, just kills it for me.

Just asking, but could this be dismantled bri..... Just kidding. It's a class little walk through the wall up behind stowell st.

Ahhh a fellow man of culture. Also came from the sticks and thought Newcastle was some kind of metropolis from the movies. I also find Brentfords stadium really interesting and quirky tbh, love the way things are worked around their surroundings. It's character that can't be simulated in modern bowls etc.

Can't believe people don't like the look of leazes terrace!? Okay it's nothing mind blowing but I find the simple symmetry of it class, very traditional and British to me. Mind, I also think a lopsided St James' is class, so my opinion is pretty weak

    Joe Willock

Yeah he sounds so nervous! That interview after Brentford where he looks direct into the camera, was so awkward In a nice endearing way of course.
  13. Enjoy the game, sure to be a good atmosphere! Get into the chat section for ideas on drink and food also if you're in Newcastle for the day/night.
  14. Exactly. Despite some player quotes at the time, it was plainly obvious they weren't fit, Bruce's training was lacking to be polite. Players like willock and Joe needing that extra effort put into them to get the best out of them. It's night and day. From the outside people will say we've bought our way out of trouble, and it has certainly allowed us to rotate a slim squad. But obvious from just the performances of the above mentioned players what is really paying dividends.

Sure they said we only had 40m a transfer window also, you just don't know their real intentions good or bad I suppose.
  16. I'll be honest, I didn't thin EH was as ruthless a manager when he first came in. I really thought he was a young chummy chummy everyone's mate kinda manager. Then you read the interviews where he is the meticulous driven coach fixated on his work, and JT of all people is the good cop. I just could not envisage that at the time. He is just a consummate professional, and a bit of gent. Well done EH

    Joelinton

Had him down for a goal in this game like, just felt it was coming from his constantly improved performances.
  18. They did explain in that athletic interview that everyone seemed to be leaking stuff from agents/players/club. I'm sure they were guilty to a degree as well. As much as I can't get my head around it still, nufc will be big news and every little thing now scrutinised as some see us as now having potential to upset things. Ultimately it's just not worth getting upset over and just roll with it. It's just nice being interested again for me. I took the bairn to her first game ever against Brentford and now she has a healthy (well, not really) interest in NUFC and even wanted the retro kids top yesterday in the club shop. I obliged as it was only £18 btw! But it's nice nonetheless. Edit, sorry for digressing
