  1. This is pissing me right off now. Why is he saying (again) that they thought approval would come this week when from what I can see, the PL don't appear anywhere close to approving it. What information does he, the club, and the consortium have that have given them that impression ? I mean it's a hearsay atm so who knows what to believe. Maybe the consortium we're confident they had established clear separation between pif and state, but the PL stood firm with their legal standing on it? Whilst I'm pigging sick of it, I'm intrigued to see what/if anything comes of this shit slinging.
  2. I believe Newcastle United said the PL rejected it and said Masters has acted the wanker. The PL responded by saying they wont be making a comment. Only for them to then make a comment by releasing a statement, and saying Masters didnt act a wanker & they haven't rejected any deal. Fair. Suppose the only thing I'm wondering now, is if the PL should've rejected the deal if Information wasn't forthcoming? They literally have no cutoff for takeover processes?
  3. So, am I right in thinking that unless NUFC pulled the takeover from PL it still stands? Obviously that's a big thing for nufc and the takeover, but unless nufc state that it's done and withdrawn to the prem, it officially isn't? Surely they have to apply their test, and ultimately fail it due to insufficient information being provided? How does it just stay open without a decision?
  4. Exactly, his replies should just be littered with Henry mauriss tbh. I'm not even arsed if he was proven correct in long run, he is a massive bellend and should be treat as such.

    Plane spotting

Anyone know what the relevance is? Or are we just enjoying a bit plane spotting again

    Transfer rumours

No red flags, given verbal assurances. Could be the club's new motto tbh
  7. We don't have to be so negative But it's shit like that independent article which is based on next to no substance and it perpetuates that the deal is still alive and well. Pity we don't even have football to keep us distracted, the actual playing side of our club is in tatters too
  8. The deal is dead ffs man, can't wring anymore water from that brick. Unless we hear something to the contrary from the very party that withdrew their interest everything else going on is bullshit clickbait.
  9. I know this is more pet hate than a real issue, but it's pissing me off any company putting arsenal X Adidas. You make their kits, that is all, stop with the bullshit hype like this some unreal collab you will be have to queue at end. for. Sorry, rant over
  10. Keep the faith people. One day we will get owners that care about the club, that engage the fanbase. We know what the club can be like when all singing from same hymn sheet, you can almost weaponise the fanbase. We don't need to be the richest club in the world, we just need careful and thoughtful investment and I'm positive this club will be a force. Just hope it doesn't take so long that the irreparable damage is done.
  11. I think any new iteration of Saudi investor would be vetted exactly the same tbh. Can't just slap a moustache on it and hope it sails through haha
  12. Think they've agreed for the minutes to be ok'd by PL first or something to that ilk?
  13. I've had an ex-employer through the unfair dismissal route, not a fun experience when also trying to bed into your new job. I also self represented and got a settlement at the 11th hour, pretty remarkable for a company who were so confident at the start and hired a big Newcastle law firm haha. I found our conciliator an absolute bastard. Once you understand they don't give a shit about wrong or right just settlement, you know how to play it.
  14. From the trusts own 'become a member page' - "The Newcastle United Supporters Trust (NUST) exists to be an organisation for supporters, by supporters, with the aim of improving the experience of being a Newcastle United fan through communication with Newcastle United Football Club, other Supporters Trusts and National Fan Organisations, as well as national governing bodies of the game we all love." Totally fair mate. Mind that's not to say they haven't already done as much. I'm speaking on my behalf here not the trust's, and I found your points to be pretty decent.
  15. But why not share them? The trust are seemingly normal people doing this in their spare time, and without wanting to do them a disservice they aren't all going to possibly be a savvy or as clinical thinking as yourself. Agree with a lot of your points tbh and hadn't thought about the possibility of canvassing support from fellow trusts and maybe seeing if they can at least spare a question for the NUFC takeover debacle, as this affects more than just Newcastle.
  16. Good ideas tbh mate, did you pitch them to trust? I'm not having a go either, genuinely good ideas that if you think are valid and are a member you should forward these on.
  17. I'm fairly confident the guy on the right is photoshopped in to that photo. Why because he is in a different chair? Around his glasses and forehead is suspicious like.
  18. Hope one of them questions in the Jar was why can't you afford a pair of socks?

    Jeff Hendrick

It's hilariously bad how underwhelming anything nufc feels now. Good luck to the lad I suppose, gonna be a miserable place to play football.
  20. Well done all involved. Not that they will answer anything pressing but box clever lads. It's good to have some representation at the highest level.
  21. Think the hate is now more because Staveley has asked fans to protest, but I'm not sure our protests were ever going to sort the problems they've hit.
