Overall it is positive. But as a fan of nufc, what positives are you taking? Feels like a further kick in the stones the way I read it haha

Greg[/member] is a legend so I'm not having a go..... but I really wonder what has gone wrong (if anything) since this day of supreme confidence It wasn't a day of supreme confidence in terms of anything imminent, just confidence that it will get done - the point was that what I'd heard (and I have no direct links to anyone involved in this and so it's all second / third hand so usual pinch of salt) was that there remains confidence on both sides that deal will go ahead but they don't know when. So make sure your fridge works to keep those cans chilled and ready for when the announcement comes out of the blue, whenever that may be. Nobody likes warm beer, or champagne in my case - I'm on a low carb diet. So no better than any 3rd rate journo or Steve wraith. Thought better of you. You're in a privileged position as a fan, you should know that implications of reporting back to us like that and refrained from it. At least we all know now not to listen to you. Is he the ginger haired kid who has been getting himself on the TV and radio? Another one at NUST who seems way more interested in building a profile for himself than report accurately what's going on or properly representing the fanbase. Or, his role requires him to convey concerns of the fanbase etc. to the media? I don't know him but from what I've seen of him in media as of recently he's actually done a pretty good job of conveying my feelings at least.

The importance of this distinction exists largely in the minds of Newcastle-Online.org members, and stems from a wild extrapolation of one of the Premier League’s early statements that referenced a “Saudi Arabian company”. No one involved in the deal on any side would have bothered discussing the distinction between the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia, chaired by Mohammed bin Salman, and the state of Saudi Arabia, governed by Mohammed bin Salman. Because there isn’t a meaningful distinction. The idea that the Premier League is going to secure meaningful legal reform in Saudi Arabia is also fanciful. I actually agree with this. Too many people looking for hidden messages out of desperation and somewhere later down the line this being treated as fact. I'm probably guilty of it myself. And the premier league somehow being peace brokers in the middle East just sounds rediculous, nowhere in the PL's OD test does it state the prem can push for reform in another country in exchange for a club haha. I know the second point is a bit hyperbolic but it's loosely how I interpreted that athletic point.

Other than media shitstorm I honestly don't see why they wouldn't want this to go through? I'm sure the fear of losing out on potential serious investment in their league isn't lost on them. And don't they already have findings of WTO report, or am I making that up?

Does anyone on this forum work at like Gregg's or something?! It's like Wall Street in here, well out of my depth

Teddy bear picnic or is it June 1 already? The day there are no red flags and it is imminent. Like clockwork

Most obtuse take I've seen on this whole saga. You're a delight So because I'm not hysterical and going along with thinking it is going to be announced this week I'm someone else and getting shot down. Give it 2-3 weeks and you will see what I have said has turned out to be true. Jesus Christ talking about hysterical. Was a bit tongue in cheek mate. It's Sunday, chill

Is there honestly someone in the replies to Pete's tweet asking him for a timescale, even if it's just his prediction?!? What is the matter with people man, go outside, read a book, stop being drivveling little knackers clinging to any old shite.

The kid behind this account is definitely one of them serial stalkers who just ignores all the court orders and stands outside the window masturbating. He's absolutely relentless.

Plot twist, it's actually you going mental ala Beautiful Mind.

Probably but it's got to happen sometime soon one way or another. For what it's worth I do think we will hear something this week or early next at the very latest. This is me at the start of every week and I'm actually disgusted at myself now. I switch off for a few days and come back here and nothings changed, nothing. I'd say when we hear something official then we will know either way, but that hasn't really been the case with Newcastle in the past

Closed and archived in a box, like in Indiana Jones. And hopefully it's never seen again.

Considerably nicer than the half arsed version they went with then. "I know, let's just make it all gold and stick 125 years somewhere" At least that has tie backs to city coat of arms and current crest.

I'll go with the latter I think. How can he possibly stress the confidentiality around it and then state his direct involvement with the specifics of piracy regarding the bid. If all that was real, you better believe this person is getting a smacked arse right now. "I've done everything to hide my identity" *Uses real name for his Twitter account* Don't understand why he is waffling about hiding his IP. Like I say if any of that is real I don't think his company would have much bother plucking him out considering the exact details of his department and dealings in all of this. One of the many reasons I avoid Twitter. Gives a platform to people who I can only presume have some sort of mental deficiency and crave the attention.

This development may be different, but I hate how the developer always sells some shit pipe dream about creating new communities and hundreds of jobs when in reality that rarely happens. I work on most new developments within the north east and they're a fucking travesty. Absolute shit that clearly won't stand the test of time in build and aesthetics. And always there is this vision of something amazing, and invariably it becomes some shit student accom. With a Tesco/Sainsbury's express tagged on it and a coffee shop. Offers jackshit to the wider community other than tired unkept high rises filled with dirty students (I understand the wider picture in regards to students and their spending etc. But still!) Newcastle helix being the exception mind.

Rafa had the walls painted. And he still left? Fucking insatiable that man's appetite.
