I play/train there every sat night and the odd game on a sunday, we need new facilities, we have teams coming from Sheffield and Nottingham and they cant believe Whitley is our only rink. After that its Billingham. :lol: Nice one mate, wrong of me to only mention warriors as I know there are a fair few rec. teams playing out of Whitley too!. Whitley has a certain nostalgia to it which I love ,but if I was visiting from the likes of Sheffield with their ice Sheffield venue I'd be mortified haha. Talk of Leeds getting a silverblades too!

Whoever said ice rink, I fully agree!. North East has a solid history in ice hockey that is being kept going by the warriors. As much affection as I have for Whitley ice rink, we need a premier ice venue for our city!! On subject, all the student accom's in Newcastle is mental, especially the prominent positions they take.

Exploiting additional revenue streams and getting these events at SJP and not the SoL can only be a good thing. One of the reasons we don't many gigs at St James is that we have the Metro Radio Arena for that, it's a much better place to see bands than a football stadium tbh. Not sure about that like, the acoustics are horrendous at the arena. Absofuckinglutely! The sage is an amazing venue acoustically, and the city hall is probably better haha

Very much so but doubtful they'd be looking to sponsor a football team in this day and age. I always thought Carling would become a main sponsor considering they've been in and around nufc for years, always thought it would suit our colours (or lack of).

Fresh from his & Terry Macs talk in at gossy park. All 500 and odd people sat in silence listening attentively to what they had to say, of which was a lot of the same old and training ground stories from back in the day. Don't know what it is about kev but when he speaks, you sit there and you listen to every word. The man just understands it.

Have so much time for Keegan, his name just brings back the best memories personally. Even when I hear him talk now I hang on every word, he just exuberates passion for his trade if that makes sense.

So dissapointed in him again! Really wanted the lad to shrug off some of the doubt/grief he's had directed at him but he keeps being a pivotal part in the defeats. I am right in thinking he palmed an effort to an opposition player already this season?
