  1. God just watched his Sheffield Wednesday appointment press conference what a depressing watch Said he wasn’t sure if he wanted another go at management or not. Said he had to be sure about his health. Said it will probably be his last job. Said he didn’t care that there isn’t anything to spend. I reckon he’s just coming here for one last payday/mid season pay off the guy looks finished as a manager. His body certainly looks finished with living. I honestly worry for his health mind. The toxicity pardew received whilst trying to stay brave was pretty grim. I don't think at this time in his career he could handle such vitriol.
  2. I don't know which to stick my money on, nufc relegated by Christmas or this useless fucker having a heart attack first. Honestly Steve, you'd probably get a hell of a lot more support for kindly rebuffing the offer. 2019, Rafa has left, two top goalscorers have left, majority of fanbase led on another takeover fairytale and Steve bruce getting a job in the premier league at Newcastle. What version of fucking hell is this?
  3. He's not unfortunately. I know of him and he's unfortunately one of these soopa fans who could literally spin Mike ashley rogering his 90yr old gran into a favourable situation.
  4. The more I think of this the more it bums me out. He may not have been anything spectacular but he felt like a Newcastle product of sorts, an unlikely success story at a club bereft of quality developed players. For some reason I couldn't even picture him leaving, like he was just happy to have been given the chance at the big time. But even his ambition has now outstripped that of our clubs and that is really worrying and saddening tbh. Good luck to him, he deserves any success that comes his way as he is clearly driven. Can lee just knock the lights out when Mikes done please?
  5. So, that's pretty fucking shite news. Who's the next gullible idiot to take the hot seat and diffuse the fanbase? Who's the next arse licker to come out and say benitez was unreasonable and mike's a very generous guy?
  6. Shut up man You can't go on like that spouting bollocks for weeks on end and then when it turns out to be total shit not expect to be called out on it We talking about Odin here or your posts? jejejejejejeje
  7. Unless I've missed it he seems more interested in dropping smarmy comments than actually addressing the valid points being raised. Pretty embarrassing way to go on even if people are calling him out in an arsey manner.
  8. No....No he hasn't. People give bishop way too much credit he isn't that powerful and he isn't that smart Isn't how smart? How clever do you think someone needs to be to plant stories in the papers ffs? Also, lets pretend Rafa won't sign up on Ashleys terms, what do you think Bishop would suggest? Tell the fans the truth? Especially when as a fanbase we are so fucking easy to con. From the very start I've been suspicious of this, the main reason being why now? Just as we were meant to be signing Rafa up long term. It stinks. Then you add in the character and history of our owner, and our bi-annual "takeover talks" and surely even our most optimistic fans must question this? Rafa seems strangely quiet throughout it all which is something I've rightly or wrongly deemed promising. There is no way he wouldn't have been leaking how the outcome of the meetings he had had planned out. Possibly just blind optimism like.
  9. Without wanting to cause offence, why exactly would they? I think it's safe to assume nobody knows anything about any of it bar who is (hopefully) trying to conclude the deal. And that would suit me down to the ground tbh.

    Sunderland

That flag craic is so sad man They're even discussing how we created Tyne & wear to steal their riches to build the metro and siphon off finances to better Newcastle and leave Sunderland as the ghetto. Every single thing with them is part of some bigger ploy to help Newcastle and keep Sunderland in the neanderthal ages, tragic.
  11. Can't believe they showed up in that shit minivan again It’s the best Uber provide. Dunno, just think a grubby looking minivan, Merc or not, with club stooges and probably Monster Munch and Chewitt wrappers on the floor is a pretty crap first impression. It's not like he has an entourage and 40 suitcases with him FFS This killed me for some reason

    St James' Park

Yes they've taken him down for a clean, as per regular stadium maintenance.
  13. He's missed a big chance to stick the fingers up at Ashley there. Pity that.
  14. I get double that so whoever gets that job is half a James. What a knob. Barry fucking Homeowner Ding dong landlord here
  15. Apologies if I'm going over already covered ground but were the final minutes lambasted by all in attendance, or just NUST?
  16. And they better be fucking runny

    The Magpie Group

Anyone know if there was a congregation outside of Milburn entrance after match? I'm not personally on Twitter but haven't seen anything mentioned after the game.

    The Magpie Group

Guess that's that then. Or we could all just log on and submit a shitload more reviews even more tasteless than the last lot. I've already resubmitted, just put it more eloquently I hope you realise my bit about fans attempts was in jest?

    The Magpie Group

I see KBA PR are trying to restore their Trustpilot score by (rightfully I suppose?) Marking some reviews as lacking any credence. But obviously any attempt by fans to attack them online and through social media is futile. If anything, it's causing someone a bad head sifting through all the 1 star reviews
  20. I know I shouldn't let it bother me but I've got the chronicle on Facebook and it properly gets me down seeing the replies to the protests. The wums and mackems are easy to spot, it's the supposed NUFC fans views that really shock me. Usually older fella's who just say he already has your money, he's too rich to care, he doesn't work at that sports direct etc. Whilst totally ignoring whats actually happening and how much this stuff is actually pissing Mike and his mates off. Yes, he's not going to pack up and fuck off tommorow because there was a protest outside sports direct, but it's a constant nuisance to him, like a wasp just hanging around fucking everything up.
  21. Every game is the same. It's what we do, surrender possession so we can try and not get beat. Funny that, we beat West Ham just the other week with 35% possession whilst apparently 'trying not to get beat' That's what we do. We go out to not get beat and if we score then brilliant. We never go out to try and take it to a team. I will never warm to this kind of football like, always detested the "not get beat" style. Just takes any kind of enjoyment out of the game of football. Completely agree and this approach is down to no one else but the manager to me......But again the untouchable one can not be questioned by anyone for fear of them being labeled an idiot May just be me, but I find this approach to everything almost as embarrassing as those who think Rafa can do no wrong? Yes this football isn't great and something needs to change here, for me that isn't the manager. We need to get this takeover business sorted if it's you g to happen at all. That's literally the only shred of hope I have.
  22. Not that I disagree fully, but I've always found Elliot allows shots that seem fairly routine saves look like worldies, or pushes them back into a dangerous position.
  23. No, questioning some of his decisions is just natural, we all do it because we all have an idea of how we want the team set up. No manager has universal support in everything they do i'd imagine. Another thing that irks me though, "well if carver or pardew had this run" craic. NO! Me personally I give benitez the benefit of the doubt because I put him higher than the likes of Alan pardew and John carver, he in his career has earned a little bit more freedom to sort this shit out. His treatment of the club football side, and especially the non footballing side of things, is just another fucking world away from what we've been fed the past few years. I love Rafa as nufc manager, I can't hand on heart agree with every decision he makes, but I can hand on heart say I don't want any other manager in charge of us at this vital time (or even after for that matter really). Apologies for ramble
  24. I think I need a forced exile from Facebook! It's honestly got me down knowing that there is a growing section of our support who literally think Rafa is shit and we need to get shot. Almost as though it was all rosey before he turned up and he's got us down on out knees. I can accept people questioning some decisions and maybe rafas bull headedness but to want rid of him? More and more I start to understand why we sometimes get a bad rap from everyone.
