Missed this as I was driving! Anyone kindly sum up some of the key points raised? Anything we didn't already know divulged?

I suggest you just log out go for a nice walk and forget about being a football fan. What's the point, where being fucked over by the EPL and the top 6. Must have passed you by though ehh What? Don't think you've really followed this closely enough if that's your take mate. The point is the prem shouldn't be allowed to ignore a deal and not deliver a decision. The decision is not the problem, the lack of one is. I know that’s the point. I know the PL shouldn’t be allowed to ignore a deal and not deliver a decision. I know the problem is that there is a lack of a decision. I’m talking about whether the takeover is going to go through or not, not whether it’s fair or not. Well, that will come when we hear their decision? Everything until is just bluster haha

A delightful Wales kit Don't ever recall Liverpool having any blue on their shirts. Can't imagine that will be too popular Sure they've had an away top with a simar colour blue/green on it? Could be mistaken though.

Puma are an absolute scourge man.

Fairly good piece. Why is he talking as though BeoutQ still exist though? When bein pulled out of F1, was this at a time that BeoutQ was still broadcasting? And this all still boils down to how the PL are legally pinning this back to PIF. Not saying I disagree but I'd obviously like to know Prems stance. Until then this is all conjecture, positive and negative alike.

Hilarious. I see Wraith's reputation has been pretty much reformed as a result of this farce in the eyes of many. You're all being played in ways you'd struggle to comprehend Thanks for replying, almost an honour Luke. Can you clarify what you mean by the above? What exactly do the fans not comprehend?

That is a massive surprise. For what it is worth, it was Ian Mearns who told me he was a Sunderland fan and that asking him to do anything was a waste of time in regards to NUFC. I've had same response. Tbh if people in his constituency are asking him the question, he has a duty to take on them concerns and ask the question. Fair play

They'll still claim protests don't achieve anything. Very true, but it'd be hilarious. It would literally go against everything that fanbase has conditioned itself to.

They won't be arsed as they'll still be celebrating last Thursday's news - wankers! It'll absolutely kill them IF all our actions and protests gets it back on track and it completes while they sit and watch their own house burn. Fanciful thinking but it would be the absolute perfect case study for how protests can lead to positive outcomes, opposed to sitting their having pints with stu and charlie.

Caught a snippet of Steve harmison(cricket lad?) Talking about it yesterday on talksport. He pushed a good message and came across quite well until he said something about fans don't really understand all of the piracy and human rights stuff attributed to SA. I'd say people have had to become quite educated in it now.

So, to summarise. PIF feel they have submitted enough evidence to prove that they are independent from state and have supplied names of I volved people's. Prem think state can exert power over PIF and therefore want to test higher ranking people within the state. PIF don't like that and are pissed off their answers aren't sufficient for prem. PIF have pulled out in a strop and prem are just not entertaining explaining the situation as they think they've done enough on their part. So pretty much as it has been for weeks haha

They honestly have a genuine fear of being somehow likened to nufc's fanbase and the deluded Geordie stereotype. Whilst I don't blame them to a degree, the feeling is so strong it's ultimately at the detriment to their football club. This is why owners come and go and take the piss unopposed.

Pretty much Sunderland about everything...

Fair question which nobody knows I guess other than buyers/Fatboy and PL. I thought they may want to include SA as a director(laughable to say really) so it made it far easier to fail, as I imagine there is something there which they could pin. Or it's just PL trying to muddy the waters and make it as awkward as possible because they know they can't fail it? We need answers!

Depends on how much proof PIF have to separate themselves sufficiently from the state itself. Can't imagine it's a strong case but you never know, PL have to decide first before they could/would take any action. If they feel they have enough, then you can understand why they're miffed and don't feel like approaching the head of state to sit on a football clubs board
