We can't compete with sovereign states, especially when we're not allowed to have one

Yeah all a bit weird this. How can they possibly be so far down the line and not know the structure of the ownership. I understand people saying the buyers obviously are not supplying the right answers but sure to god they would've just rejected this if after 3/4 months they havnt had a simple answer to this. If it couldn't even get past the basic structure of the takeover why even entertain anything else

I'm in the same camp here. He does have the flair and composure of a better player but I'm rarely wow'd by anything he does, other than his ability to win freekicks at a canter.

First point is clearly bang on. Second point does not tally up with what Steve mcmanaman and Graeme souness told me the other day mind?

I mean that's even we even give his bid any credibility But Luke keeps going on about November he heard mauriss was interested yet nothing to suggest he has even made the baby steps into purchasing the club. I mean it's all bullshit, luke calling out the public shambles of this Saudi bid yet he's touting some nomark with even less credibility and chances of passing the OD test.

Doesn't the Bein deal only last for one more season? Hardly something to hang your hat on especially if it pisses off the richest potential bidder for the next round due to start in the not to distant future. Don't think it's very likely that Saudi Arabia would set up a company from nothing that would buy the bundled MENA rights and start setting up broadcasting all through the region. Yes they probably would be bidding for KSA rights but that doesn't seem to be how PL want to sell them. Plus I'm not sure how well the Saudis come out of this as potential broadcasting partners. I'd be a bit wary. Qatar aren't coming out looking too good either! Come on lads, be big boys and settle some differences. Qatar could probably do with KSA onside for their broadcasting/income and KSA wanna do a bit sports washing. And Scrooge McMasters would like to dive into a vault of middle Eastern spondoolies.

And just to add to that, prior to him becoming our manager I had no opinion of him as a person or manager other than being a bit meh! More I've heard and seen from him I've began to dislike him a bit personally. He talks waaaaay too much and for the best part it's just nicey nice plucky us blather. It feels like pardew all over again but with a soft Geordie accent. Back to drilling into us we should be happy we exist.

He has surpassed any lowly expectations I had of him. His record overall tells me it's as good as we will get with Steve unfortunately. But then I'm not sure anyone would agree to Steve being the future vision of a competitive/competent nufc, just a Mike Ashley one.

Just reported this thread, in particular last few pages to Samaritans. You are all welcome. But in seriousness, that mirror article says absolutely nothing new. If they KNOW the PL are siding with a streaming partner then come out and say deals off until you sort your shit dickheads. There is no way they are just gonna ignore them and hope they fuck off without a decision and valid reasons either way. The problem is nothing credible has leaked to indicate which way this is going. Just lots of posturing from Qatar and zip from PL/Ashley/PIF

Which Monday, in which year?

It's not a company from SA it's SA. The PL themselves described PIF as a company in SA like. whose chairman happens to be the crown prince of saudi arabia (and as far as I understand he's been making more and more decisions for the country the last few years) and its literally the public investment fund of saudi arabia how the hell can it not be considered an arm of the KSA goverment But what difference does it make if it's a company, the crown prince or the king himself! Just because bein is banned in SA, they can't own a PL club? Still a totaly different question. By blocking Bein, the value of the broadcasting rights just decreased considerably in the MENA region and they are fucking with a massive partner of the PL. Obviously the PL will take all that into consideration. Take this as me being ignorant, but is that relevant? Of course it is to the PL, but by their own OD test, is that relevant?
