FUCK OFF CELEBRATING LIKE THIS WASN'T YOUR FAULT.
  2. I wonder how many Newcastle fans regret hounded Alan Pardew out now?
  3. I hope it happens whilst he's on the motorway, with any luck he will hit a HGV coming the opposite way.
  4. Aye, he pretty much said it's down to Charnely to GET a manager. Doesn't sound good for Wor John
  5. Says he isn't ever selling until we win something. Or CL place.
  6. Hes being interviewed on SS1!!!
  7. Hope so, even if it's just a couple of thousand with banners. It should still make the papers etc. We just need people to realise how much of a cunt Ashley is.
  8. Because you are wrong. Nobody said he's a world beater. But he would be a decent option right now. You seem to have a little agenda to negate everything he can do. 1300 minutes is around 14 full games, of which he had 6 assists. Does Gouffran, Sammy, Obertan or Jonas have 6 assists in 14 full games? Look. So far you have said: He hasn't scored in Ligue 1 = Wrong His 4 assists in Ligue 1, means he can't repeat it in the PL. He has 6 PL assists = Wrong You reckon he played a full season at Guingamp, and hasn't = Wrong You also reckon his minutes ratio for Gunigamp is poor, despite them being midtable with poor goal difference and they have competed in Europe with an average squad. Added to which somebody said some of his appearances were as a striker. If we aren't comparing him to our own squad, why exactly did you take interest in digging up this information?

  10. Would prefer if he didn't post bollocks like that. Agreed He's class, but that is blatantly something the club have told him to do.
  11. By totally over exaggerating his lack of ability and claiming he couldn't get assists in the PL? Yes. I said he wasn't very good. He hasn't done particularly well in a full season of Ligue 1. I said it was harder to provide assists in the Premier League than in Ligue 1. I also said him not being very good "doesn't mean he isn't as good or better than some of our other midfielders." He got 6 assists in around 1300 minutes of PL football for us. It's not brilliant, but considering he was always coming on as a sub, it's not bad.

  13. He scored no league goals. He scored 2 goals in a Europa League game against PAOK and 1 in the Trophée des Champions. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troph%C3%A9e_des_Champions He provided 4 assists in the league, 1 in the Europa League and 1 in the Coupe de France. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/sylvain-marveaux/profil/spieler/39909 From this I would conclude that he isn't very good (that doesn't mean he isn't as good or better than some of our other midfielders). 4 more assists in the league wouldn't of helped us like. Ne way. Ligue 1 isn't the Premier League. Most would consider the Premier League to be a step up in quality on Ligue 1. Just because someone can provide 4 assists in Ligue 1 doesn't mean they could in the Premiership. Emmanuel Riviere was Monaco's top goal scorer last season! Correction. He has 1 league goal. Wikipedia is wrong. He's already got assists in the PL. Assists that won games. You are talking shit. He's not a world beater, but he would of helped, and the assists could have lead to goals to secure us a win.

Where does this set piece shit originate from? He's NEVER been deadly
  20. It's Alan Smith who says Cab-a-lar. The moron.
  21. A team is meant to be supported through thick and thin. You left them when the going got tough, Brummie. Even if you got a ticket, do you deserve it based on what we know? That's the thing, though. You've got a point there. I bailed for the season. It is biting me in the arse. I've come to terms with that part of it, and it is pretty ironic, too, that it has turned out that way. So now I am also thinking - and this is the same logic here - "ah well, I'll decide not to do it, and we'll lose, and I'll think 'thank f***'" Then in the next second - "but what if we actually do win it? And I had the chance? ANd I threw it away for the sake of 500 notes" Followed by "but it isn't just the money, it is her indoors, too" I should add that for Villa fans, the cup is a massive thing, won it seven times but not once since 1957. I appreciate I am in a fertile place when it comes to not winning things, but with the exception of the UEFA cup, it is the only thing I've seen us play in but not win. I almost feel like, if we won it, and if i was there to see it, I would be mentally released from this whole f***ing football torture thing. It'd all get easier for me. I went to see David Byrne five years ago, at the Symphony Hall in Brum, an amazing venue, to see my favourite artist of all time, and we were in the second row, at just below stage height, right in the middle. When we came out, I said to the Mrs, I never really need to see another gig again, because whatever it is, it'll never be as good as this. That's the way I find myself thinking about this match. But I still feel bad about even thinking about doing it. We've been together 16 years. I've grown attached to her. Fond of her, even. Understand what your saying However, Villa owe YOU something for the last 4 + years of misery. Martin O'Neil, Alex McLeish, Paul Lambert, and that's just the managers. It's on par with some of the disasters NUFC have bounced back and forth from. You backed them to the hilt when the going was tough, until you reached your breaking point. And Sherwood, although abit of a novice, is a new but slightly precarious step into your new history as a club. And tbh, it's not something I would want to miss. Comparing it to NUFC, we all hate Ashley with a passion, but if he had brought Sherwood in, and we ended up in a cup final again *snigger*, then by hell or high water I would make sure I was there. But why? Well, because it's my club and it would be achieving something I had always dreamed of, something I was always aggrieved about when we struggled, knowing we could strive for better. Because for 90 minutes it would be in touching distance. I appreciate you are having abit of money trouble, but like you say, it's potentially a once in a life time thing nowadays.
