  1. Tell ya mate Rafa to sign decent players then.
  2. He does decide because Rafa aint got 100mil in his back pocket to sign a prime Fernando Torres. He gives a budget just like any other owner/chairman who runs a business and then the manager works with that budget. He does not decide who is recruited with that budget. Rafa chose to sign these useless f***ers he was not forced to what cant you understand about that *breathe* Right... Example time Rafa wants a 15mil striker, a 10mil LB and a 15 mil CM. 40mil is not much in todays market. Ashley counters with a budget of 18mil. Rafa then has to buy a 5mil Joselu, a 5mil Manq, and an 8mil Merino. If he doesn't buy them, we have no LB to cover the injured Dummett, no CF he trusts other than Gayle, and 2 CMs in Hayden and Jonjo. See the problem? Or would you rather he bought nobody and we play Mitrovic at LB?

  4. Mind blown. It's asif Ashley doesn't exist and Rafa wasted 20mil of Joselu for the laugh. Do you think the chairman decides who a team signs??.....The manager decides on who he wants to recruit just like in any business. If you think Ashley forced these players on him then youre blinded Did you start following NUFC this season? Keegan literally left due to Ashley and Wise doing exactly that. f***ing hell. He prevents Rafa buying what he wants, so has to buy dross. Or gets nowt.
  5. Was Joselu his first choice? Or a last resort due to financial restrictions from Ashley? It doesn't f***ing matter he decided to sign him, he wasn't forced at gunpoint to say yes. He sold a guy in Darryl Murphy who would have been far more effective than this plank He was essentially forced to sign dross like Joselu and Manq due to having no other option, you monumental toss pot I'm sure he would of loved Cenk Tosun and Luke Shaw, but guess what? NEWSFLASH. MIKE ASHELY OWNS US.

  8. We are a compact counter attacking team though. We could rarely break a resolute championship team down, let alone PL teams who sit back.
  9. His hands are tied, but he’s doing the same with the players in many ways so what you are saying be may spot on in parts but it’s utter defeatism to lay all this on Ashley. You are in charge of your own destiny etc. Sitting back Surrendering possession No urgency Poor use of subs Lack of movement and passing Aimless long balls AT HOME TO BRIGHTON! All down to Ashley... Shut up your an idiot, losing at home only 1-0 to City was a masterclass. Follow the forum narrative or STFU Would you rather we threw caution to the wind, got spanked 6-1 off City and 0-1 off Brighton. Atleast we had a go with our championship squad though Because attacking merit moves you up the table.
  10. Is it Rafas fault that Yedlin can't defend? Is it Rafas fault Dummett can only HOOOOOF? Is it Rafas fault Hayden is out of his depth? Is it Rafas fault that Atsu is our only semi decent winger? Is it Rafas fault Joselu is the Spanish Luuk De Jong? Open your eyes HTT. The squad lacks quality to such a degree Rafa doesn't trust them to think for themselves. He doesn't want them taking to many risks, because there is a higher chance we loss possession, are out of shape and get done on the counter. So instead he knows our numerous limitations, and as a result its COMPACT COMPACT COMPACT. If we had even 3 quality players maybe he would encourage more expansive football. But it's backs to the wall because he has no real choice.
  11. Maybe a change of manager, if this is how we are going to be set up for the remainder of the season. Serious as well. If you're serious HTT, you're an idiot.
  12. Stoke are literally resting their entire starting XI vs Chelski today. Brighton done it last game. Both in preparation for us.
  13. Exactly. I don’t know how people can ever let it go. Him and Ashley drove loyal supporters away from the club. Every true football supporter knows that supporting your club is a different kind of love to what you have towards your family. Every football supporter holds their club close to their hearts. When things go bad most of us have family to fall back on and when things at home get bad we have the club to fall back on. Some of our supporters don’t have family, heck one of the supporters who died following the club to a pre-season friendly to New Zealand was said to have only supporting the club in his life. These are the types of people who Pardew took the club away away from. He made those types of people and a lot of other loyal dedicated fans walk away from the club. Some of us stayed and and made the fight against him, and the world turned against us for doing so and we will forever be branded with a tag that we don’t deserve because we made a stand. If you or others can let that go then that’s on you. I and many others, and I f***ing swear down if I outlive him then his family better cremate him because I’ll be pissing on his f***ing grave. Stifler, your original point was around Pardews legacy in players like Colback, and then you agree it's actually the fans. Howeh
  14. When the club stops feeling the affects of his tenure. Technically we have really. It's Ashley's tenure that we're feeling the wrath of. Not fully. His years of mismanagement and negative tactics were largely responsible for our relegation. Since then we have struggled to bounc back to a consistent decent level of performance (not helped by Ashley). Even now some aspects of Pardew ball still creeps into the squad when the chips are down. Sorry like, but that is a load of rubbish. We've had numerous managers since, Pardew's legacy left with Pardew's mercenaries. There's not an ounce of Pardew's legacy left at Newcastle United now, it left when we sold the likes of Sissoko and Wijnaldum. It f***ing didn’t you know. Even last season when we had the ability to rip teams apart and Rafa’s game plan we still had Pardew moments combined with Pardew players (Colback). Okay, so Colback maybe as an anomaly but he has been entirely frozen out now. So, my point still stands. It does when looking at the playing squad. However I still feel alot of our fan base, particularly at St James', are stuck in a Pardew / McClaren defeatist mindset. We go behind and that's a guaranteed loss, booing players who play shit, jumping the gun for players like J. Murphy etc. The fact Rafa has to ask for us to stick with him proves we are so used to kicking off at the first sign of danger, mainly because we've seen it develop, stagnate and never be rectified under PFM like Pards. People can't wait to shout "Told you so" when we fail, because we've suffered years of negative tactics, mismanagement and being undermined. Rafa is a different breed obviously, but some people assume his failings are equal to Pardews. The squad aren't Pards legacy, a proportion of the fan base are. Which I find ironic as people I know who complain about Rafa and his tactis, gave Pardew a mile of rope to hang himself with. Negativity breeds negativity.
  15. When we die? Because when he dies it's a new bank holiday for me.
  16. Personally think 4 points from Man City, Stoke and Brighton would be more than okay.
  17. What? It wasn't a particularly good free kick which the keeper should have saved. It shouldn't be used to gloss over a thoroughly average display and a horrendous mistake for their first goal. Imagine watching us score a goal, and your first thought is "Il use that to defend blob". Get to fuck man
  18. He got caught in the eye off their forward, that's why he dropped it. Wrong That's what it looked to me. He split it well before he made contact with anybody. Wrong He was dropping the ball well before somebody made contact with his eye, you flid.
  19. Absolutely. A player that makes most passes, tackles, headers, interceptions etc etc is definitely not needed.
  20. Wait til Geordiedean catches that last snippet from Stevey G.
  21. As Fat Sam says, if your points match you games played, your heading for safety. Played 19, won 18. That'll do for the minute.
