We defo picked up when Rondon starting playing, but were still inconsistent and shite at times. West Ham, Wolves, Fulham, Man Utd home run was (1 goal and 1 point). We were unlucky against Wolves, but tbf we were pretty shite in the other 3 games. Again, not taking anything away from the team- as we really hit our stride in 2019.

We played some really good stuff 2nd half of the season. Some very well worked goals, we looked threatening in possession and on the counter. Perez and Rondon were linking up superbly. It was very enjoyable. In saying that, the first half of the season wasn't great. I remember how pissed off people were after the Brighton home game, Palace and Southampton away (when we created less than nothing). Those games were dire.

Will we keep the same formation for this or slightly tweak? Same formation you'd think Carroll up front, and Joelinton supporting him with Almiron. Or a possible 5-3-1-1? Could have the full-backs providing the width, bring in Longstaff for a midfield 3 and either Joelinton or Almiron playing off Carroll? We've won every away game we've been ahead at half time - an early goal could be key for us.

Don't have any graphs but we're 9 points better off than at this stage last season. We hit 21 points against Cardiff, which was our 22nd game.

7 points clear of 18th with a better goal difference of 11. Have to admit, better than I thought it would be at this stage.

2-0 up after 20 mins, with an own goal and Clarke goal. Ended up 2-1 win - held on a little but deserved overall.

Joint 2nd best defence at home this season. Gives us a chance to pick up points.

With Saint-Maximin likely out, intrigued to see how we line up. 1-1 (Carroll).
