The stats are very, very similar to when we beat them last season. Last season: 24% possession, 7 shots, 2 on target. This season: 23% possession, 6 shots, 3 on target.

Need a sub-forum for the Militant Mags. They can have their own pre-match thread, where they one up each other and predict how heavily we'll be beaten. In their match thread, they can have a competition to see who does the most exclamation marks, after we concede and they type GET IN....

Last home game, behind to Bournemouth. This game behind to City twice, and we get 4 points from those 2 games. At home, it's 1 loss from 7 - we have a bit of fight about us at St James Park.

Who's getting worked up? Just feels a bit cringeworthy that people continue to watch the matches just to celebrate when we concede or lose. If the club is that far gone for you maybe there's better things to be getting on with?

Aye, I understand apathy or even antagonism towards the regime, but I can't get behind celebrating when the other team scores like. Even more so when it's one of the plastic, money clubs like City scoring. I've been consistent. I'm not spending any money on the Toon - not going to matches. I want Ashley out, I didn't want Bruce here. But I can't celebrate an other team scoring against us and I can't wish we'd would lose. That's a fair position IMO.

What was great about it, we parked the bus at home for 90 mins. Jesus Christ man Came back from behind twice against one of the best teams in the world. We scored 2 great goals, and worked very hard.

Wish the Militant Mags would stop posting "Get In" when the other team scores and wishing we get beat by double figures. It's so fucking boring.
