  1. Away goals rule and play-offs are pure sex. Should never be changed.

Isaac was misquoted. Meant to say: "doing shite things"

    It's pretty weird like.

I like this board, because we can debate, and have meaningful arguments/discussions. Might not always agree with each other, but mostly we can see each other points. RTG is just a cesspool of utter bitterness towards us like. Just loads of shit-posting. Deluded weirdos.

So bitter man. Love how one of the nonces is claiming Almiron is a flop. 16 points from a possible 27 when Almiron started, Perez scoring and playing well - helped by the space Almiron creates for other players.
  6. Hughton has never been relegated from the Premier League. Never been in bottom 3 with either the Toon or Brighton. There's a decent possibility they would stay up him next season, not a foregone conclusion. Their form has been turd recently, but many teams have had turd form this season and turned it around (Toon being one of them). Hughton might have turned it around, might not have. If they make the wrong appointment, and get relegated - will their fans be thinking, "ah well, we had to change managers, we were 100% going down with Hughton anyway?"
  7. If they get relegated, they've made the wrong decision. Nah, that would be to confuse outcome with the decision itself. They might make a bad appointment, they might make a good appointment but have injuries or bad player form. Any number of things could happen. Football is really weird like this, the result overrides everything else to a silly degree. The result does override everything. If Brighton get relegated they've made the wrong decision. If you get relegated over a 38 game season - you deserve to go down. And hence the appointment wasn't successful.
  8. If they get relegated, they've made the wrong decision. It would mean the manager they replaced Hughton with had failed. It could also mean the quality of the other teams in the Premier League had improved (for example NUFC scored more points this season than last season but finished in 13th when it was 10th the season before). If the manager who replaces Hughton fails - they've made the wrong decision.
  9. If they get relegated, they've made the wrong decision.
  10. Tbf we have to see how this pans out. If Brighton get relegated next season, it's clearly the wrong decision. Again, I can see both sides of the argument on this one.
  11. Cheapo-Moting shouldn't cost that much tbf.
  12. Some punter had £5 Acca with Paddypower and predicted all 10 correct results for the Prem League games yesterday. Won £115K.
  13. As I said previously, I feel the sacking is harsh but I do understand the other side of the argument. Hughton certainly has flaws, and Brighton's recent form has been poor. We'll know at the end of the next season, whether it was the right decision or not.
  14. Brighton have been pretty gash in 2019 tbf, but he's taken them from relegation candidates in Championship to the Premier League within a few seasons, and he's kept them up 2 seasons in a row (without even being in the bottom 3). Personally, feel it's harsh, and he deserved to still be there, but it's the Chairman's decision and we'll have to see how it pans out.
  15. Sounds like a class weekend mate. Hope you can battle through work today.
  16. The defending for Cardiff's second goal. Wow.

Total respect for this guy. Delivered massively in 2019. Wish him all the best
  18. Hyped for match of the day. 36 goals get in!
  19. If you don't count Wolves . . . Lol fair point. Huddersfield confusing me.
  20. Fucking class lads! Not conceded a goal in 6 games against the newly promoted teams this season. Nice.
