got excited then tasted the Jam.

I missed that, what did he say roughly?
-
potentially related to his Groin issue, didnt feel comfortable sprinting down the weings and having to track back etc? Not sure really, I know what you mean tho he wasn't his normal self, but then is that also in part related to Miggy not being there, and Murphy playing that position differently perhaps?
-
Aye if your good enough your good enough IMO. Gordon's case he wasnt fit at all, blame that on him, his previous club or what I don't know. but others have come in and slotted in straight away fine.

Is Willock defo in the same mould as Joelinton from a tackling/win back / interception perspective? Whilst ive not seen him play in what feels like motnhs now, I remember him being more a transitional midfielder, fantastic range of passing and fast on the break, i don't remember him for his tackles etc.

Are we close to actually seeing Schar play in Midfield, when Bruno/Longstaff or Miley now gets injured, or soon banned for 2 games? Play Lascelles with Botman and Schar as a holding Mid and Miley and Longy as the 2 normal mids. Madness, what a cluster fuck of a season. Got to be a lot of questions between now and the summer of our medical team, and Howe needs a period of reflection on team management. We have a U21 team, yes they suck but how many of them could of played 20-30 mins here and their to see out games and potentially helped this utter mess of a situation were now in?

didn't someone say that this was some condition that NFL players get, grass foot or something, and it is a nightmare and takes months to recover from?
-
at times aye, put it down to my old age and thought about using it as an excuse to buy a bigger TV, missus told me to get fucked.
-
yeah would make sense for sure. Insane how beart up the squad is like really, would be very interesting to see all the lsit of issues they have, barely any of them are probably 'fit' with no issues.
-
was he injured when he came off? looked uneasy on his feet. or was it a case of just back from injury so limiting his minutes, I hope

I don't think its unfair to say that Miley had a few mistakes in defencive positioning, when he is 1 of 3 in a midfield that conceded 3 to Forest. I thought he was fantastic in the build up play and attacking manouvers, but definitely could of done better in some defencive situations, and thats fine as he is 17 and learning. He is not the finished product yet, and I thin ktis unfair to lambast someone who can clearly see that!

Aye sounded wank on the TV, from minute 1 never mind after they equalised. Was like the crowd was waiting for it and defeated already, pathetic from them and the entire club today.
-
theirs a third who's younger apparently
-
you know the mad thing? All the coaches say his younger brother is even better!
-
Aye he’s update his IG story with a pic of the fixture, must be in the bench ?
-
when we run out of fit players who can actually play are we allowed to just promote under21's into the squad as their under 21, and keep playing with a full team of kids?
-
specifically this and Botman situation seem very strange and doesnt feel like normal injury stories you hear in football. Definitely need a massive investigation into what can be done to limit injuries and improve training/recovery methods to prevent this happening again in future seasons, and invest correctly to rectify.

Hate to say it, but with Gordon removed with a tight Hamstring, and Trips suspended, we're even worse off than we were before tonight squad depth wise.. Yes Burn is back, but rusty, and were now going to have to play Isak on the left for a full game, when he is obviously at 75% fitness at best and make Wilson play another full 90 minutes in 4 days. Coupled with the mental exhaustion that will set in over the next few days I would be astounded if we got anything out of this, sadly think we could be on the end of a 0-3 or similar

Where the fucks all the Dubs is fine fanboys now, 6 goals in two games and more than likely more now. get De Gea on a plane tomorrow.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

how's Milan getting on atm form wise? -
If he is, we can kiss goodbye to top 4-6 and any champions league/europa league success imo.

De Gea on the plane tomorrow?

in a very surprising turn of events, I was actually hoping for a midfield or attacker to be fit before Sven, as Lascelles has done such an excellent job covering him so far. Obviously welcome back, just for the moralle boost as well, don't think he walks straight back in mind!
